101 Things to Do With a Cake Mix (101 Cookbooks)

Yes you can go online for recipes. But this book is one of those must cookbook. I have had mine for many years, and love it. I purchases tha copy for my greens daughter. The recipes are very good and easy to make. Highly recommend!

I really like this book. I've tried about 7 recipes so far and most were excellent to good with only one being something I didn't like.I also got other books like this, including the big name one, Cake Dr. I MUCH prefer this one over that one. These recipes are quick and easy and most take one pan and a small list of ingredients. If you look at the actual recipes in the other books you'll see many ingredients, many steps, many pans. In the other book, the using a cake mix doesn't save you that much time/energy. Here it's the star.

Got some interesting recipes. I'm glad I purchased it. I paid $8.99. It's the 2002 edition and originally cost $9.99. I just received it, therefore, I haven't tried any recipes, but since boxed cake mix sizes have gotten smaller since this was published, I imagine, I'll have to compensate for that when using a recipe from this book. But that won't deter me.

Old but very clever variations. I may try one the next time I get assigned dessert for a potluck. I use sugar free cake mixes as I run pre- diabetic but frankly do not notice any difference in the mixes. I bet this lady was very popular at church socials and it says she helped raise her two kids by publishing this book, pretty cool. You will notice ( and I like) the recipes do not call for a lot or complex ingredients, it is actually things you will have on hand or can easily buy at the local market.

Interesting ways to make all things with cake mix. Easy to find all the varied ingredients found at grocery store.

This is my second one of these! Bought as a gift! ,love the quick recipes for times when I DON'T have alot of time to make a dessert!

It is in excellent condition, it's easy to read and understand, I am very happy with it

Love the book. But, it was poorly packaged and arrived with the spiral spine mashed. The return process was inconvenient, so I kept it anyway.

Very ho-hum book. Quite disappointing. Good for someone who rarely bakes and when they do, rely on a cake mix (nothing wrong with that!) but want to jazz it up a bit. I have a few of these "101 Things...." books and this one is a dud. Off to the second hand shop it goes!

Book size was a bit deceiving, quite small otherwise the recipes were good. We used this and other items as a prize basket for our annual meeting and it was a big hit.
