I wanted to get a box as a gift for someone to hold gaming-related items (dice, figurines, etc). While the box is a good size and the design is actually quite nice, the box I received is extremely difficult to open. There's no latch or handle or anything to get a good grip on, and the lid is too tight for the lower portion. I'm assuming this is a defect with the unit I received, but I'm not going to be requesting a replacement because I could see opening it being difficult even if the lid isn't too tight.

I received mine in the mail for a gift for someone. But when I received it, I was so impressed with it's quality, I decided within in minutes to keep it for myself. I will buy more for gifts but this one is MINE.

I LOVE this box. I picked this one after looking at many to hold my family’s special Christmas Jesse Tree advent calendar ornaments. The woodworking and the tree on the outside is beautiful and was perfect for my Jesse Tree theme. Unfortunately, after arriving, I found that this box was too small to hold all the ornaments, much to my great disappointment. However, I still kept the box, as it’s such a lovely box.

Gave these to our parents on our wedding day and filled them with letters and other gifts all fit perfectly and I love how this presented that to them
