The Throne of Glass series includes: Throne of Glass Crown of Midnight Heir of Fire Queen of Shadows Empire of Storms Tower of Dawn Kingdom of Ash The Assassin's Blade (prequel novellas) Review: 46 Throne of Glass inspired coloring designs – printed one side of the page - Attached to this review will be a silent flip-through of the entire coloring book and some sample photos so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it will work for you. The coloring book is based on various books and novellas in the series of books by Sarah J. Maas. I won't discuss whether or not this coloring book what is I expected from the books but rather how I feel about it as an adult coloring book in its own right. The coloring book has 46 different designs from different stories. The designs are by three artists Yvonne Gilbert, John Howe, and Craig Phillips. One of the three artists did not quite match in look and feel with the other two and it gave a slight discordant vibe to the book as I look through it. While I won't detract in my overall review for that, it was certainly noticeable. Most of the designs are quite beautiful and elegant. The designs are quite detailed and many of them have intricate and tiny elements to color. What is nice about this book is that the designs are printed on one side of the page with excerpts from the book on the opposing page. That allows me to use any form of coloring medium I choose without worrying about whether or not it will ruin a design on the back of the page. This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing the paper with my coloring medium. I will list, in the comments section below, the coloring medium I use for testing and coloring. 46 Throne of Glass Designs by three artists Printed one side of page (with book excerpts on the back of the page) Paper is heavy weight, white, ever so slightly rough, and perforated Sewn binding Designs are printed beyond the perforations and merge into the binding. Nothing essential will be lost if you remove pages at the perforations; however, you can remove several pages in whole by clipping a few threads of the binding. Alcohol-based markers bleed through this paper. Water-based markers, gel pens, and India ink pens did not bleed through the paper. Some gel pens require additional drying time. Colored pencils worked really well with the paper. The tiny bit of roughness to the paper allowed pigment to easily adhere to the page. I test both oil and wax based pencils and both worked well. I could layer the same color for deeper pigment, layer multiple colors and blend easily using a blender stick. I like to use alcohol-based markers with this style of book (printed one side of page) but I use a blotter page of card stock under my working page to keep ink from seeping through. I would suggest either using a blotter page or removing the coloring page from the book beforehand if you use alcohol-based markers. Review: New favorite author - Love the series

Super fun!
Super cute and printed well. I love this book series but it doesn’t give coloring pages form every book in the series. The color does bleed through (marker) to the other side so i recommend putting a piece of paper underneath the page you’re coloring on.

Beautiful pictures & quality pages!
This coloring book is perfect for relaxing and clearing your mind. I recently finished the TOG series, so I decided to pick up this coloring book. The pages are thick, but still smooth and perforated if you want to pull them out. There are cute summaries for each picture and the pics are soo detailed. I’ve colored using both pencils and water based markers and they didn’t bleed through. Overall a great buy!

Perhaps the best bookish coloring book!
Take out your markers and coloring materials because the EPIC Throne of Glass coloring book is FREAKING amazing! I seriously LOVE it! Each page is amazingly illustrated by three different artists! I love that you have three styles of artwork in this coloring book. Also, the amazing line art on this page is just perfect. As someone who is not comfortable coloring humans, this was surprisingly easy! One of the things that I love about this coloring book is that they also feature other characters from the series. Princess Nemia is not entirely the main character but she gets her own page. She is also one of my favorite characters from Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight. The next thing that I like about this coloring book is that it encompasses multiple books in the series. I believe this goes up to the 5th book, Queen of Shadows. Each illustration is accompanied by a short excerpt from each of the book where the illustration is taken from. This is also perfect for me because I use markers to color and you know they bleed on the back. For those who love coloring, the Throne of Glass coloring book if perfect especially if you love the series.

Fantastic coloring book for Sarah J. Maas fans
I got this coloring book for my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! Was really happy with the detail and complexity of the coloring pages as well as the thickness of the pages. I was really surprised the book was as comprehensive and long as it was. This will give her many many many hours of coloring fun.

Excellent companion to the books
Excellent companion to the books. This is a beautifully bound book with stunning images ranging from simplistic to extremely detailed. Pages lay out nice and flat when the book is opened and are also removable, though the images are printed right to the binding so removing them you'll lose a bit of the image, not a lot and nothing too important if you don't care about losing some- if you do then I recommend leaving them in the book though. The pages are nice and thick and seem like they can take some abuse. Coloured pencils, like with most colouring books, work very well. I am not sure how markers or pens would work in the book but I think they will be just fine as I tested it with wet media on the very back page with both watercolours and watercolour pencils and, provided you don't saturate the pages (Wet one wet techniques) it worked out extremely well. If you keep your water/ink controlled, use small brushes, take your time when using paints and allow time to dry fully between layers or sections- buckling is nearly non existent. At least when working on the smaller images in the very back of the book. Not sure how the larger, more detailed, images would hold up. I'll have to test it on a page I don't care too much about---which is really hard to chose in this book as they are all so pretty :) But since the images are all one sided even of markers or ink pens did bleed through as long as you put a page behind the one you're working on to prevent damage to the next picture, all you'd lose is some text and pretty page border decorations on the page behind the images. All in all I am very impressed with the book and look forward to colouring it all in.

Tolles Malbuch
Ein schönes Malbuch für Fortgeschrittene, da die Motive teilweise schon herausfordernd sind. Es macht Spaß diesen tollen Bildern Farbe zu geben.
