Pro-LifT C-9100 Black 40" Foldable Z Creeper (450 pounds)

My husband is hard to shop for and now that he is doing more mechanic work from home, I wanted to gift him supplies for the house too. This is by far his favorite thing I've given him! This is a very durable and easy to wheel product. The wheels are bigger than the other models, which makes it way easier for him to wheel around the uneven shop. In fact he loves it so much this became his every day at work one and he has asked to be gifted another one for home! The design was easy to figure out install and the locking seat works amazing. He now uses it every day and even said its taller than the old one at the shop so its easier for him to work on vehicles while sitting. I highly recommend!

I'm not very mobile anymore, and have a lot of problems kneeling, squatting, and bending over during projects/chores. So for my hobby of rebuilding golf carts, I decided I need to get some kind of garage stool to make things easier on me. I was having trouble finding something, though, because I needed it to be adjustable between normal low stool height and very low (for like working on wheels, brakes, suspension, etc.). I also need it to be sturdy because I'm 240lbs. This is a near perfect solution for me because in creeper mode it's really low to the ground, and then in stool mode is perfect low stool height. It's also an easy pull of one spring pin to change modes. The casters are also excellent size and positioned very well in both modes so I'm not tipping or popping a wheelie, even when I'm sitting on the edge. I didn't actually buy it for this, but I've also found myself using it several times as an actual creeper, laying down on it. It's very comfortable and well cushioned, and I don't find it terribly difficult to get up and down from it regardless of the position/mode. It was also very simple to assemble. Honestly, best "tool" purchase I've made in quite a while. I'm really happy I got it. No regrets!

AMAZING product! It is durable, comfortable, versatile and hands down the best mechanics creeper I've ever seen or owned! Usually when a product is "foldable" with dual uses, the product falls short on both uses compared to a similar item that only has one function. Well NOT this one! The creeper is highly durable, comfortable it rolls soooooo smoothly on the best creeper wheels I've ever seen. Compared to the one this replaced, this one makes the old one look like a cheap kids toy. If that isn't enough, the seat is highly useful and comfortable and sturdy! My husband is 6'5" and this was a godsend to him when doing the brakes or anything which usually required crouching down on the ground! The seat is generously padded, high enough to be comfortable even to someone with a very large frame and long legs, VERY sturdy and stable and it rolled with ease on those amazing wheels! In this age of making things out of cheaper and cheaper materials, and using unskilled labor that takes no pride in what they produce, this is a wonderful throwback to a time when things were made to last with pride in workmanship. IF I had to find anything negative about this the only thing I can think of is that due to the large wheels and generously thick padding and headrest, IF your clearance is tight under your vehicle you might be better off with a lower profile creeper. This isn't really a negative, but just something to keep in mind. Oh...and the only other negative is that its now $13 less than I paid for it LOL But honestly..it was worth every penny I paid and then some!

PRODUCT: Pros: Seems sturdy, rolls nicely, adjusts easily. Cons: Can roll out from under you or tip if you are sitting on it and lean forward too far. Neutral: It does sit high. This can be both a pro and a con depending on how you are using it. PURCHASE EXPERIENCE: Other reviews talked about missing parts and/or being apparent someone else had received the item and retuned it, likely because it was missing parts. I received one that must have been returned (box had been opened and re-taped closed), and the obvious missing parts were just thrown into the larger box instead of being placed in the smaller box with the rest of the small parts. DEAR PRO-LIFT/MANUFACTURER: I’m being really kind when I say your instructions are lacking. IKEA has better instructions- they at least include pictures you can use when the verbiage doesn’t make sense, and their font size is readable (seriously needed a magnifying glass for yours). I would have happily paid the $2 extra dollars for the paper/printing cost for you to make better instructions. It would be helpful to tell the customer up front what tools they will need over and above what you supply (like 2 13mm wrenches). Also, would it really have taken much more time to put the extra small parts into the small parts box before taping it back up? Like what - maybe 2 minutes? You have a good product - try not to make it a bad experience. MECHANICS (or wanna-be’s): If you work on cars a lot you will still need jack stands in most cases due to its height, but it will keep you off the concrete (which can give you 2nd burns in the summer where I’m from). That’s assuming you figured out how to put it together. ;-)

Received this Creeper today with high hopes, it did not disappoint!! Box in perfect condition and more importunely the internal product was also in perfect condition! The instructions page is in small italics but yet a simple assembly. The 2-longest bolts go into the head/seat section and the 2-shorter bolts into the lying section. No signs of a weak or bad weld on supporting members. The tools included sufficed however if you do not have the tools to assemble the creeper, I would be concerned with the tools you have for working on a vehicle?? Great product and definitely recommend to all DIY wrenching guys! I have my vehicles on a quickjack lift so the height of the creeper impedes nothing.

Good product. I purchased this for my husband and he loves it. It was very well packed with everything needed to put it together. Very comfortable and the wheels swivel smoothly. You can also lock the wheel which is a great safety feature. Good size. Not too big or small. Heavy duty . Very heavy and durable. Good value for the money.

It’s a nice and well thought out creeper. Love the versatility of it and it’s one of the few that comes with soft roller wheels not just some caster wheels. It’s very comfortable to work on.
