Saves money but is not as nice as a $10K replaster!
So I purchased this Pool Patch to fix some pealing pebble tech issues I had on one of my pool steps. It is basically colored "cement" with pebbles in it, so if you have ever used any type of cement this works the same. The only negative I could see was the bottle of bonding agent did not have any indication of how many ounces it contained so I had to use a measuring cup to add the correct amount to the patch. I was also concerned about getting the mixture too moist after reading the reviews on Amazon, so used the same measuring cup to slowly add water to the mixture and was not quite sure how much water to add. I erred on the side of moisture but the first application was still a bit too dry. I found that because of the pebbles, it was difficult to get a smooth surface to the patch as I applied it. The pebbles would roll and create a "hole" in the patch that I assume would over time cause the patch to peal. My solution was to first apply the patch to the area, and then add a bit more water to the remaining mixture to create a more liquid mixture that I applied to the patch area to smooth and finish off the patch. I am now waiting for the 12 hour curing period to begin adding water to the pool. I am hoping under water the patch will look "softer" but even if it doesn't, it saved me a ton of money. I'm sure regardless, the step will look better than it did. I will update my review with a picture of the results after the pool fills.

Seems to told up well. Color isnt perfect, but thats prob me
My spa is cracking pretty bad at the steps at the bench. I talked with the pebbletec dealer around me. They basically said the steps were prob not shot with the gunite gun and instead shoveled. The density is prob why its cracking. My options are to patch or reshoot the whole pool and spa for $8k. I ground the cracks out as far as my 6in grinder would reach. I put 3 tubes of concrete epoxy down in them. I patched the top with this. The color is more blue or grey than mine, but its a patch. I suppose i should have sent a pic to the vendor so they could help better. Im happy if i can get a few years out of this before reshooting the whole thing. Balance you Ph and TA and keep your plaster in good condition to prevent this crap.

Patch worked well
Did everything it says it does. Husband used to much water first time but once he got it right it patched up our steps and coupling so nice. The color we picked matches well.

Didn’t match
The patch covered the crack but didn’t match the pool. We were later informed that professionals typically mix colors until they get the correct shade.

Save your money and get someone professional to do this.
This is absolute garbage. First of all, there are next to no instructions, other than a few lines on the tub which are not helpful. Secondly, if you reach out to the makers they will ignore any and all requests for help. Lastly, the brief instructions call for something that doesn't seem to be available anywhere but **could** possibly be a separate liquid that's contained within the tub, but who knows because it called something different to the requested item and the makers of this WILL NOT respond to you if you ask. Save yourself money and get someone to provide and fit for you, this product will only do one thing, waste your money.

Color not even close to a match, plus will not work on cracks as indicated.
The color is significantly different than what it is supposed to be. Hard to see from the picture, but spot sticks like a sore thumb! It will also not work for cracked surfaces. The mixture with the pebbles will not get into a crack - may if a chunk is missing, but not on cracks. Deceiving descriptions as on the instructions it mentions that it can cover cracks. Even with the wrong descriptions, and color a horrible match, now I am forced to pay a bunch of money for the return shipping! There are much better alternatives out there!!!
