If you are someone who likes thumb holders these are good simple and easy to use. they are not great for hardcover books or bigger paperbacks they don't seem to hold but smaller paperbacks and mass market size they work well for.

With my arthritic knuckles, I can’t fit it through the holes. It still works but not as well as it should if the holes were bigger.

It’s just a plastic thumb ring with wings, but it does it’s job! I enjoy being able to hold a book open with one hand so the other hand is free to write, hold a drink, or pet my dog.It does not make a good bookmark—its flat surface is too small to stay in place securely. But if someone figures out how to use it as a marker, it would be a 5-star plastic ring!!

Love this product! You can hold books with one hand, so your other hand is free if you want to multitask or snack while reading. Works very well on small paperback books. My one complaint is that it doesn't function well as a bookmark as advertised. It is shallow and thick, so falls out easily. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars but can be easily remedied by just using a slip of paper to mark your place. Otherwise this is a solid product and well worth the money!

As my daughter does a lot of public speaking, I thought this would be ideal for her. And it was! I looked forward to using my Thumb Thing, but unfortunately, the medium is too small for my big thumb. I do have a friend that reads a lot and I know she will 'fit'. A really neat, different little thing. I may have to get more, they would be perfect as stocking stuffers for the readers in the family.

It works very well. I really wanted the wooden one, but I didn’t wanna spend the money on it. The top of my thumb gets a little sore if I wear it for too long, but I have a very fat thumb so it might just be a me problem.

I do find this annoying that the book doesn't stay open, but I found my hand cramping if I held that position. So, I always transitioned from putting my thumb in the middle to putting one hand on each side. While trying to use the product the book would get dented in and leave marks in the book. So for me this product sits on my night stand collecting dust.I also gave one to my girl and to my sister and they both shared the same results.
