Review: Better Range and Sound Quality - Battery: My only complaint is the battery life. These use a 300 mAh battery pack that appears to be 2-AAA batteries. I would prefer a larger battery pack so I would not need to recharge every 3 days for phones that are on standby most of the time. Excellent Range: This system replaced a 5+ year old V-Tech one that was getting scratchy reception in the back room that I use as an office. This new one has extended range and the signal is much better and quite usable in the farthest room from the base. Conversations are reported by the other party on the phone to be very clear. Value: I bought the 3-Handset V-Tech as I found it cheap - about the same price as the 2-Handset system. I use one phone, while the second is a backup for when the primary phone needs charging. The third phone is still in the box for future use. PS: I had to put felt pads on the back of the phones because I kept almost knocking them off the desk when I reached to pick them up. They slide very easily on a hard surface.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Complicated functions, but good phone system.

This phone system works well. As with most new electronics, it is way too complicated. The instruction manual is about 150 pages. Really. I could live without the flashing light. The automated voice that announces the calls doesn't speak very clearly or know how to read. I still haven't figured out the blocking function. The system is well-made, but some of the buttons are very small and hard to read. I wish they would ask consumers how to design easy to use features. But it is a good phone system, hence my rating.
