Powerful and sturdy
Had it now over 2 years and its still running strong. I've tried box fans in the past and have had bad luck. This fan has been solid for me since I got it and moves some serious air. It is loud if that is a concern for you, but for my needs cooling servers in another room it doesn't bother me any.

The potency is impressive
Super easy assembly, very durable and easy to relocate as is is not heavy. Very efficient to cool down an area very quickly. A bit loud but it's because that fan is really working! Provides very cool and strong airflow.

So Far, So good.
I bought this fan to put in my garage attic to push hot air towards my wall exhaust fan. I already have a similar Dayton fan up there from Grainger that does the same thing. With the size of the attic, I decided to add a second fan. Compared to the Dayton, it seems to move almost as much air, i'd guess about 80% as much, maybe more. It definitely beats a box fan. It is much quieter than the Dayton. For the money, I would buy one of these again over the expensive Grainger Dayton. I use a temp controller on all of my fans and so far, this one is working good in my set up. The garage stays at an even temperature ... no more blazing hot attic and the garage is slightly cooler than my outside temps. Of course, remember, that is due to my complete set-up, not just this fan. We'll see how it holds up. The Dayton has been rocking along at full speed now for 3 years.

Powerful fan, not really very loud.
I thought this was a very powerful fan. Not quite hurricane force, but you could definitely feel strong airflow from about 15 feet away. Super simple to put together. Durable material and no rattling. It does make a pretty good hum when used, but no more than what would be expected to produce that much airflow. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, i.e the power of the fan, that it is not too loud, no rattling and the durability.

A Loud But Effective Beast
I bought two of these to move warmer air through a two story home with twin staircases. I put one on each end of the house at the top of each staircase. They are monster air movers, but even on the low setting, they are loud. From a utilitarian standpoint, they are the bomb and a good purchase.

3 speeds: fast, faster, fastest
This fan is excellent if you need to move A LOT of air very quickly and noise is not a concern. I bought this to help dry my carpets after carpet cleaning. It was everything I hoped it would be - my carpets were completely dry after running this fan overnight. There is no "low" speed setting, just 3 variations of fast. This is a serious fan that moves a lot of air. It's loud, but I was able to sleep through the night with this fan running on highest speed about 15 feet away.

Love it.
My order came 4 days early. Thank u Amazon. I got a Hurricane 24 in. Over 7 years ago. Still going strong. I needed another one, but not as large. It came today in good packing. I took it out the box, connected the legs/frame. It is made of all iron/stèel.. But is light weight. Turned it on to see how it blowed. Boy was I surprised. I thought it was on high, till I turned the switch again and it blowed even harder. It does NOT move around on the floor like others I've seen. Neighbors have had. I believe I am going to order another for my other room, just in case a friend drops in and stays the night. Like I said it is very easy to put together and setup. As I am a 77 year old disabled lady. If I can do it, anyone can. Boy am I going to sleep good tonight. It is a little noise when its on, but I like a little noise. It grounds out the noise from Noise from outside. I would recommend this everyone that is looking for a mid size ,20 in. Powerful fan.Update: Was looking threw .y reviews, saw this. Thought it needed a update. It is Sept. 2024, still using fan. It stays on 24/7... I'm now 80 years old, believe it's going to outlast me. By the way, it does get cleaned from top to bottom about every 3 months.

Powerful fan, not very quiet.
I bought this fan for outdoor use to keep mosquitoes away from populated areas. We were able to place it a decent distance away to minimize the noise it makes. The lowest setting was AMPLE for keeping the air moving sufficiently to keep mosquitoes away from our group seating area.We also use this in our home gym in our garage. it allows us to cool the garage down before going in to work out on hot days (we also have AC in there, but it takes a while to get to a comfortable temperature). By venting the hot air out of the garage, we can use it within minutes.Good value for money.
