If you're using this kit for the headliner of a car it is a very time consuming process but the results will pay off. The 430pcs (0.03in+0.04in+0.06in) 9.8ft + Meteor kit includes 5 shooting stars that amount to 60 additional fibers for a total of 490 pcs. The fibers are flexible and I only broke a couple during the entire installation process including mangling the headliner to get it back in. The app has many different options for the speed/type of meteor, the color of the stars, the speed of the twinkle, music modes, etc. The 9.8 ft was cutting it a little close in my 2018 Accord but it worked and the final results were fantastic. Overall this kit is a good value, the different strand sizes, twinkle and meteors made this kit stand out from the others for me.

This product works great! I got the 335 piece at 13 feet because I knew my vehicle headliner was much smaller than most (roughly 5’ by 4’ with only about 42” by 22” of usable space for the fiber optics). After watching a couple videos on YouTube on how to DIY this headliner and a couple on taking apart their car panels, I’m confident anyone could take up this task on their own. I would recommend to anyone reading this to ensure you get 13’ of cord unless you know for a fact that 9’ of cord will be able to be cut and hidden appropriately (easier to cut than need more mentality). The reason I give this product 4.5 stars is because the actual power cord length is only about 4’. The perfectionist in me wanted to hide the motor toward the back of the car to negate engine noise and keep it out of sight. In order to do this and keep the power cord hidden, I had to buy an extension cord (a whole $10 or so) which isn’t product ending, but definitely an annoying straw to have laid on your back after this meticulous process. The actual fiber optic cord you get works great and looks amazing after being pushed through the car headliner and shines bright day or night, and is thick enough to push through the drill slots made without breaking. The motor itself is a little loud when the car is dead silent, but the moment anything else happens (car engine turns on, music plays, etc.) it is quickly drowned out.Key points by Amazon:Thickness: the thickness of the cord does seem to come as described (for my package three different diameters), however I did not take a caliper to them.Value for Money: This product is right in range with other products you will find for a job like this. The additional Bluetooth functionality makes it great and gives you a wider range of colors than seen on the remote. In the pictures, I was able to use the app to get the color close to a “rose gold” like tint. I believe you are getting a fair value on this product.TL;DR Great Product! Anyone can take on a starlight headliner with this package. However, I wish the power cord was longer.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t typically write reviews but this product deserves it. Great quality and simple setup. The hardest part id say would be putting the headliner back in. Some vehicles would probably be easier if you can take the headliner out the rear. I purchased the 550 kit for my f250 with a sunroof. The kit came with extra strands as well i’d say maybe 15-20 more. The main strand will definitely not look like 550 upon first glance so take it from me who counted all of them upon opening the package, there is 550 lol. Great kit super happy with the outcome and will definitely be referring people to this kit.

I ordered the kit and it arrived early, however the battery for the remote is missing (Or was not included) in the kit. I am not able to test the settings. But for over $130 bucks spent, it definitly should have the battery included. Until I have a battery for the remote so that I can test the rest of the functions I will only give a 3 star rating. After I will adjust.(Control box)For the moment, the control box is very sturdily built. It is big, so if you intend to use this for automotive purposes you will need to carefully decide where to place this big guy.(Lighting)As for the lighting, until the I have a battery for the remote, I will not be able to review the other functions. Mine is currently on steady red, without the battery I cannot comment on the other lights. But for what I see with the solid red color it looks to be a very solid light.(Edit)I can say after getting a battery, this kit works and looks amazing! I love the effect options it has.(Remote functions)The remote function are very strait forward easy to use. The signal strength is great! I had to run the control box in the back of my wagon behind panels and a sub box and it still gets the signal!The only down side to the kit is that the dimmer function does not work when the motor is running the twinkling effect. But other than that this kit is great! But still include the battery for the remote.

I love these lights! install was really straight forward! (2018 mustang) but took a long time. bluetooth feature is awesome. Seller answered and fixed all my questions right away!
