Gorgeous, Sturdy and Comfortable Wrap
I'm a FTM and started my baby wearing journey w Moby wrap. The Moby was wonderful but my baby got pretty big pretty fast and really enjoys being in a wrap and it's just not sturdy enough. The Hip Baby wrap is perfect! The quality is wonderful even though it's much more affordable than many other woven wraps. My baby is 15 lbs and 24 inches currently and it's just as easy, comfortable and safe to wrap with as it was when he was smaller. I even encouraged my friend to get one and she used it to back carry her 2.5 year old.An added bonus is the beautiful colors and patterns you can choose from. I have a hip baby wrap, and ergo and a another SSC and I find myself using this one the most. My lil dude loves it and I do as well. It's soft and comfortable while still being sturdy and able to maintain the wrap.Definitely recommend, even for new baby wearers.

My First Wrap - I Love It!
This is a great first wrap! I bought this for my third baby and use it every day. I did a lot of babywearing with my second but wrapping was always very intimidating to me. I knew I'd need to have my baby on me while chasing after the other two (not to mention the housework!), and I didn't want to buy a stretchy wrap that would only work through those infant years. I had never heard of Hip Baby before, with my friends going after pricey brands like Girasol and the like, but this wrap is beautiful, soft, sturdy, and a fraction of the price. I didn't have to worry about making an investment in something I wasn't sure I would like. The fabric is nice and breathable, too. The baby and I don't get as hot as when we wear our SSC for extended periods of time. The booklet that comes with the wrap is a good start, but I would recommend watching some youtube videos on how to wrap to get the hang of it.

Perfect for my needs!
I bought this actually to make my own ring slings. I got 2 out of it. Now, I know I could have bought a sling, but I really like making my own, and I add decorative stitching. I also give them as gifts.I saw a couple reviews that said it could only be used as a scarf, or was too short... the most have been a warehouse mixup then (Amazon's fault, not the company's: everything is locked but robots and via car code or location.) or they're exaggerating. It's plenty long, just as in the description. It's lovely, sturdy, lighter than other wraps I own, and fair trade to boot! I have already used one sling I made with it, and the other is waiting to be seen together, but with a different color of rings, which I decided to order today. I am so excited to wear one while my friend wears the other this weekend! Matching, yet unique! I'm ordering another color wrap to repeat the process next week with my "spending money"; these are my new go-to for making slings as baby gifts!

Great wrap at a price I can actually stomach
When my baby outgrew his Boba wrap, I wanted a woven wrap, but they are soooo expensive! So happy I found this one. I've never used another woven, so I have nothing to compare it to. But this wrap works great, the fabric is very secure, & it looks so beautiful. It's much more breathable fabric than the Boba wrap, which is great for the humid weather in Florida. Perhaps it could be softer. Out of the package it's a little stiff, but after the first wash it does soften a bit. I've washed it about six times now, & haven't noticed it soften any further since. Again, not sure how it would compare to one of the more expensive brands. Definitely not "blankety" soft, but still feels nice. I'm hoping it will get softer yet, but if not I will still love this wrap.

Just what I was looking for!
I couldn't be any happier with my Hip Baby Wrap. I LOVE wearing my 6 month old. I have a Lille carrier that I like to use for long walks (I like the support) but I was looking for something else as well. I wanted something that I could easily wear around the house that didn’t have a gazillion buttons and snaps. I came across the Hip Baby Wrap on Amazon and it is seriously the best thing ever. My daughter loves to sit in it. So far I just do the front hold – I haven’t mastered the back or side carrying method yet but there are a ton of videos online that demonstrate how to do this. The fabric of this wrap is soft & feels very sturdy (I feel VERY safe with it supporting my baby). The patters/designs are perfect too – there is something for everyone. I went with the blue wrap because I would like to be able to use it with our next child regardless of gender but there are so many beautiful wraps to choose from. I highly recommend this product & the price is great as well.

Great all-purpose wrap
Has lasted 7 months and counting. I love it, and baby loves it. I use it weekly to go to our home school groups. She sleeps while we do class and I am able to still be in the classroom following along. It takes a little practice to get used to getting it on with ease, and is softest after it's been washed a few times. The color has remained true, and practice is easy with a baby doll. Keep practicing until it you can remember how without looking at the instructions. Once baby is born and you are recovered, practice some more to adjust to the weight of your baby. The booklet comes with several different ways to wrap baby. Look online for tons of different wrap variations. It is a good medium weight fabric. We went hiking in the fall in about 50 degree temps. I just put baby in a zippered snowsuit and hat and off we went. She stayed super cozy, and took a great nap while snuggled close too. Don't rely on the wrap to keep baby warm like a blanket would, just layer accordingly. We didn't use it too much in the hottest part of summer, but it worked fine as long as I had short sleeves and shorts on. If you live in a very hot climate though, I would go with a thinner material, or shorter wrap so you will stay cooler.
