This swing is great with its multidirectional swinging, 6 speeds and Sounds it plays. My son is very spoiled and it was difficult to put him down with out him crying. He loves this swing which allows me to put him down to get tasks done while still supervising him in the swing!

Works well easy to assemble. Takes up a good amount of space, wasn't quite expecting that, but everything works and my daughter loves it.

Received the Fisher-Price Hearthstone swing as a baby gift and was excited to get it! Swing is sturdy built and what we love is the basket our baby goes in; The basket is absolutely perfect with no complaints and only praise. For while the swing lasted our baby loved it. Easy, smooth motion in all configurations with the center piece there to assist in our baby having something to focus on and help get to the sleepy stage. We did not use the noise functions as we had a white noise machine, but I did note the speakers are plenty loud enough. IF the swing was still working today I'd say five (5) stars! However, after almost 32 days of use the swing has not stopped performing its main and intended function - being a swing. Regardless of power supply or battery operated the swing will operate for about 3-5 seconds before a weird noise in the motor area occurs and swinging ceases. After about 5-8 seconds of no motion the swing will start up again; Repeat said cycle till insanity begins or your baby goes to crying. I called Fisher-Price and was initially concerned with the representative and their scripted troubleshooting. However the representative was very understanding and patient with me as we worked through the steps. I sought to buy parts myself to repair or see about a replacement only to find this model is discontinued with no parts available! That said if Fisher-Price discontinued the product WITHOUT a direct upgrade replacement their has to be an issue that they saw whether it was sales, swings breaking, or possible other concerns. Fisher-Price was awesome in that they are sending another swing of an entirely different model and design. While the replacement being sent is portable we never intended on a portable swing or one of such a design (basket especially). However Fisher-Price's understanding and willingness to help was awesome! I will definitely buy another Fisher-Price product again and I hate it the Hearthstone swing has broke on us! All the Hearthstone is now is a simple place to put baby while we are preparing things (bottles, items for a trip, etc.). I sure do wish it was still a swinging swing, but we'll see how the replacement goes!

My little one LOVES this thing! Before giving birth I was caught up in the hype of buying the mamaroo. And although I do still like the mamaroo my baby enjoys this swing sooooo much more. The three directional swing with mirror and toys and music just does something for him. He calms down every time and lasts a long time in it. I will be purchasing this for a friend!! The assembly was a slight bit of a pain but I got through it pretty well. Your baby will thank you!

My son is 4 months now and still sleeps in it, great distraction for him and helps me put him to sleep with the swing and music settings
