ZOJIRUSHIMicom Rice Cooker & Warmer None NSTSC18

I bought this rice cooker because it's the same brand that I had for 20 years. Unfortunately it gave up after that much years of use. I gave a shot on buying and investing on another Zojirushi rice cooker thinking that this has been proven and tested based on my experience.Warning ! Do not buy this rice cooker! Its broken after 5 months. The rice is not cooking properly on the right setting. I only use this to make white rice and the same setting everyday. I reached out to the seller and they were not very helpful. They respond very slow and doesn't care about my issue. They will ask you to ship the item for repair at your own cost. I requested for a refund but still wants me to send the item for repair and pay for the shipping cost.They have poor customer service and does not value their consumers concerns.It was very frustrating communicating with them.I just got a new Rice cooker from another store and kept this broken rice cooker to avoid dealing with with the seller anymore. It was an expensive mistake.

I wanted to like this rice cooker, but after 2 years of use, I can say that this particular cooker dries out your rice so fast! I will make my rice accordingly and it cooks perfectly. But after just an hour or so of sitting in the cooker, on the default finished mode or warm mode, the rice on the edges of the bowl and top are all dried out. I have to throw out more than half the pot or remember to take all the rice out after 30 mins to set aside in another container. The old school cookers with just the one push down function to cook work a lot better at cooking and keeping your rice warm without drying out.

This is my 2nd rice cooker. We gave our daughter my first rice cooker prior to moving to Florida. After getting a new home, we quickly realized that we made a mistake by giving my zojirushi to my daughter. We love our rice cooker and so will you.

I love making all different types of rice and this thing work like magic. Its super simple to use and no need to guess cause the measurements are broke down for you in the rice pot/instructions/timer. Set it and forget it. Rice takes a bit longer than some of the others I've owned in the past but the quality of rice makes up for that. A must have for anyone rice lover.

This is a easy to use rice cooker, different methods of measurement is identified on screen with labels of different rice next to it, my previous Zojirushi rice cooker was over 10 years old and still function, only reason I bought this is the metal bowl has begin to flake.
