Excelente calidad de producto, llegó un par de días tarde pero creo que fue debido al mal tiempo en esa ocasión, solo lo he usado una vez, sin embargo, la configuración es muy intuitiva, muy precisa la medición de la temperatura, en su calidad se nota el porqué de las casi totales recomendaciones de esta marca, estoy muy satisfecho con el termómetro, sin embargo, creo que el TP20 anterior es mejor ya que trae programados los tiempos de cocción de diferentes tipos de carne y en este ya no trae esa función, sin embargo, el TP27 trae una alarma de rango de temperatura baja y alta y eso es importante cuando se usa en asados de larga duración, en resumen; excelente producto, muy buena calidad de fabricación y muy confiable la medición, muy fácil de usar, equipo indispensable para BBQ.

I used the unit all last summer and it works great with these 2 exceptions:1) You really can't use rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable are 1.2v AAA, and this unit will show low battery very soon after installed a fresh set. The units should both really have 2 AA, not 2 AAA.2) The touch sensitive light switch at the top of the unit is way, way too sensitive. I'm constantly accidentally touching it and turning the light on.Other than that I like the unit. Range is good but remember the range is in free air, no walls or anything. Drops quickly inside the house. I have it 200' away and through a 2x6 stud & brick wall the unit reads, but it's at the limit of it's range.Over all I would recommend the unit. Just hoping the manufacturer improved the switch and the battery level required.

I wish I can give 4.5 stars, but 5 works. This is a big improvement over the older models. Yes a couple buttons may be less intuitive, but you can quickly adapt after using for a bit.It has a high low temp setting perfect for ambient temp tracking. It has a vibration only mode which I absolutely love, big points. The loud alarm is useful if you need it, but if you don't, it's too much. Thank you temppro for letting us turn it off.It has magnets and it has button on top to turn on the backlight.It also doesn't interfere with the older models.Do keep in mind that these may be made a bit fragile. The old model I had startes to glitch out and then stopped working shortly after only using them for a couple months under normal usage.
