Does not work!
Got three of these. The bulbs are not bright enough to attract anything! No flies or mosquitoes were attracted to it. Seems like it would be easy to clean but I don’t know since not one bug went into it!

Great for the price!
It's not the easiest to clean if you keep it outside. But I'm happy with the purchase. It definitely captures tons of mosquitoes!

Poor design
Poor design. The extension that plugs into the wall is connected at the top and the cord is very short Without an extension cord its almost impossible to use. Also the cover does not come off (understandable) to clean.Not worth the money. I invested in one from Costco.

A bug zapper that repels mosquitoes?
I set this bug zapper up near the turtle pond in my backyard. This is the area of my yard that has the worst mosquito issue. I plugged it in at night and sat back with a six pack expecting a night of redneck entertainment.I had turned off all the yard lights and the lights in the house and waited. And waited. And waited. No snap crackle or pop. I figured that eventually a bug had to accidentally fly into it. Disappointed I went to bed leaving the zapper on for the night. The next day I checked it out and it showed absolutely no signs of killing a single bug! I returned it and bought a Flowtron zapper rated for 1/2 acre. It didn't cost that much more than this one and it works great!

Problem solved.
Please ignore my previous comment. I looked very closely at the item and thought it looked like a loose bulb. I was able to stick two finger in and tighten the bulb and it now works. Sorry for inconvenience.

it doesn’t work at all
it doesn’t work at all :( not a single mosquito or bug has ever been caught! I wish I could return it but I threw the box away. I am so bummed!
