Arrived within one day. At first I was hesitant to order this item because of the reviews. But it works as shown in You Tube videos and I was pleasantly surprised and amused at the wonderful snake shapes when the pendulum swing. It comes completely assembled and has 15 balls as advertised. One ball was a bit tangled upon unboxing but easily rectified. This is a precision toy as the pendulum strings must be of perfect length in proportion to each other. Occasionally the two strings supporting one ball become twisted but very easy to set right.

My grandson loves this. He is 9 yrs old. He set it up himself and keeps it on his desk. I did tell him it was delicate and what the comments said about what not to do so he wouldn't break it while setting it up.

For this to work correctly, it has to be constructed carefully in order for the various balls to oscillate at different frequencies. Unfortunately, some of the supporting strings are twisted beyond repair, some of the balls hang at incorrect heights, and some balls hang at an angle rather than straight. As a result, the motion will never synchronize as intended. Additionally, it was packed and shipped in a tangled mess that required considerable time and effort to untangle.
