Perfect tool
Perfect tool to hold up to 10 pages together without using staples. It is necessary in places where staples can be used to cause harm such as in jails, prisons and behavioral health units. It is great if you will need to shred the paper later. There are no metal staples to remove.

The best, IMO
This is one of those products that you say 'wow, that is super cool but do I really need this?' And, the answer, in my experience, is a resounding YES! In fact, once you begin using this particular stapler, you really don't want to use a regular stapler again. Why? Here are my issues with standard staplers: they are monotone, they put these annoying metal pieces into your paper that keep everything from sticking correctly and they prevent you from making a booklet from a stack of paper.A booklet you ask? That's right, did you know that you can make a booklet that transforms pieces of paper into actual usable readable material? Well, with a normal stapler I was never able to perform this task, but with the Harinacs devices, booklets are possible. Check out my pictures where I have constructed a booklet from 10 pieces of paper using the same device in which you can also staple paper together.Another reason this stapler can replace the ancient piece of technology we have been using all our lives (and the 20th/21st century) is the stapling itself. I hate stapling paper because it's rather difficult and takes a quite amount of force for each staple. Plus, I am constantly worrying that the stapler will jam or that I will run out of staples at a moments notice. Both of these issues are solved with this product in that no more staples are required AND, the device rarely jams if at all. In fact, the only time in which I have jammed this stapler is when I overload it with one or two pieces of paper more than it can handle. But, even in a jam, a little wiggling usually solves the problem. Now, as for the ease of use, stapling couldn't be more easy, especially on your grip as the handle feels greased just right, and makes stapling quite pleasurable. Huh? Stapling is enjoyable? It sure is with this device as you get that pleasant feedback and sound with every squeeze of your hand. And, since you don't have to bend metal with every staple, it requires a lot less work. This translates into less hand fatigue even after stapling hundreds of papers together.OK, time for the bads, which are few thankfully. When the Japanese make a product and say it can only handle 10 pages at a time, you should believe them. Also, they made a 7 page model which I used for 2+ years with few issues. This 10 page model is actually smaller, especially in the grip. So, if you have larger hands (that say prevented you from using an iPhone back when it was 3.5 inches diagonal), you probably won't be able to use this stapler without your hands cramping. But, this is an issue I am willing to endure because the product is so good. Also, and this is a warning to everyone, paper that you staple together should only be meant for personal copies or ones which will be heavily marked up or edited. Using this stapler will completely ruin the look of the paper as it will contain holes afterwards. Finally, also in my experience, one hole punch is typically not enough, mainly because I am rough with the paper.Recommendation: Buy and buy several for your employees if you are a small business owner. The price is right at ~$10 especially because you will not have to buy any more staples. And you will be able to do something that you can't do with another stapler, have fun! ! ! :-)Pros:-Compact-Ergonomic-Fun!!-'Green'-Punches 10 pieces of paper very easily-'Staples' hold well-Can transform multiple pages into a booklet-No more annoying staples-Extremely durable even after >2 years of use-Nearly catch and jam free mechanism-Awesome color choices-Design is very appealing-Totally 'Japanese'-Saves money, especially if you use a lot of staples-Much easier on the hand to gripCons-Very Plasticy-Does not feel durable especially when comparing to older models-Requires multiple punches in order to hold-Meant for 'personal' copies only-10 hole punch model smaller than the 7, slightly less easy to hold

Pretty good
I really like this little โstaplerโ. It says it staples 10 sheets of paper, but it doesnโt. I tested that right when I got it. It immediately jammed up with paper. I finally got it cleared out, but a tiny spring and piece of plastic had popped out as well. Having said all that, it still โstaplesโ like itโs supposed to, but only about 5 sheets of paper. I use it daily at work.

Great concept
My daughter told me about this product so I bought it. It's a great concept but maybe not practical for every day use, seems like it's more suited for arts & crafts.

Works great on thin stacks.
This definitely saves a lot of money on staples. It's fairly durable but I would not recommend it on thick piles of paper. The tabs create a fold in enough space needs to be given for for it to do so. It's extremely lightweight and I can easily carry it in my laptop bag. And definitely recommend for students or anyone who works with smaller stacks of paper.

Maybe great but not for first grade classes
I ordered this thinking it would be perfect for all of the sets of papers I have to put together for first graders. It does work quickly, but doesn't work well for holding papers together once in their hands. Also, if I have 21 sets of tests or worksheets, the corners don't lay flat stacked together with other tests. Papers get quite bulky. I haven't mastered using it yet. It looks as if a rat has torn the corners after my attempt to use this. Maybe in time it will work better and save me from purchasing staples.

Great Stapler
Very ingenious gadget. It works very well with up to ten, 24 lb bond paper sheets.Do not expect papers bound together with this stapler to be held as strongly as with a wire stapler. It is a shame that the packaging which contains the instructions is in Japanese. Thank you google translate.

Fun, and works well
I found the idea of this fascinating, and couldn't resist it at the price. It's very easy to use and works surprisingly well. If you forcibly separate joined pages, the paper tears -- just like it would with a real staple. I haven't actually tried 10 pages yet, but it easily handled 5, and I'm propared to believe 10 would work. The bright colour makes it easy to find on the desk -- and difficult for others to make off with!If you're one of those unusual people who reads instructions, you'll need to learn Japanese! Luckily there are some pictures in the instructions, and anyway the operation is obvious.Once I've shown this to my colleagues, I expect some more units will be purchased.

What a fascinating and brilliant device
I do find this a fascinating piece of equipment, with the sort of ingenuity that only master origami artists would come up with. It is brilliant if for nothing else than how it accomplishes the folding of the paper to form a very neat staple-less result. I can vouch for the fact that it will hold together 10 pieces of paper without struggling. As you have probably gathered, I really like this amazing device and it does exactly what it is supposed to do ~ brilliant

Great idea!
Trying to be eco-friendly to use less material such as metal, I thought this staple-less stapler is a great idea. Only 4 stars because after I had pressed down it is quite tricky to withdraw the stapler. Therefore I donโt think it will take 10 sheets of paper. Note: make sure you keep the instruction sheet in the casing, looks like you may need to take it apart for cleaning...

A neat method of fastening papers without the need for staples
This is simple and easy to use, requires very little pressure to operate , unlike the usual stapler

Great product - but no English instructions included only Chinese with pictures.
A great idea to fasten paper together without using staples. But there are no English instructions in the packaging, but pretty simple to work out what to do by looking at the pictures on the packaging and the paper leaflet inside.
