Great way to get started with the disc system
You can only punch 2 sheets at a time, but that's all I really need. I tried doing more, and it just didn't work out. I got a disc system starter kit at a big box store (Wallyworld) for $7, including the discs, paper, cover, pocket folders and tabs. I hadn't used them yet because I wanted to be able to punch lesson plans and rosters to put in. I kept holding off this purchase and finally decided it was a small investment after getting such a deal on the rest. I'm glad I did. I'm able to also punch and put in smaller sheets of paper that I often use for quick notes that are meant to be temporary. I like the idea of punching anything and slipping it anywhere in my planner. It's so quick and easy. You do have to work through one section at a time, and taking your time to slip the paper in and firmly punch with force on each end of each of 3 "tabs" seems to work best. If I continue to use this planner and decide to expand the use of the disk system to put together other material, I might buy the more expensive punch. For now, I have this starter one that'll travel with me so I can keep myself organized between home and school.

I like this portable whole punch
I like this portable whole punch. I purchased it for my disk binder system. It does only do 2 pages at a time, but its perfect for the price. Its easy to use, the rubber bottom snaps on to make it a tight fit, so the "holes" don't fall over the floor. I found If the paper doesn't go in all way...it may need to be emptied. I keep it in the box to ensure its dust free. The wholes work perfectly with my arc disks.

Good for the price
I like using this for my Arc disk bound notebook. It is a great alternative to the Arc paper punch. This punch can only punch through a few sheets at a time (somewhere between 5 and 10 depending on paper weight). Two of three parts where you apply pressure snapped off when trying to punch through 1 sheet of illustration board. However these parts were able to snap back into place and have not had any problems since.

There are three sections. Push one at a time. Lock when done to protect punch knives from damage and dulling.
This punch is so under appreciated! It is a portable type that is nice and compact but does a great job on almost any size sheet up to 11”. One or two pages at a time. Simple and truly portable if needed. The great price over the outrageously priced punch at the office store makes it that much more perfect. Complainers who whine about the need to punch multiple sheets clearly need to pay for the big desk punch. If you genuinely just need to add some of your own pages, not just trying to stop paying for branded pages buy punching all of your own paper, then you will be very happy with this great punch. The photo shows it works for any size page, from micro pda to letter.

Portable and works for multiple sizes.
I love this little portable punch. It works great for use at work and also at home and I can transport with no problems. Its very lightweight without feeling like its cheap. You can only punch a few pages at a time, but that isn't an issue for me as I don't have large groupings of pages to punch. Its really easy to use. The only real draw back I see is the 3 levers used to make the punches. There are 3 for use of multiple size pages, but they only lock (individually) when not in use. It would be handy if they locked together to use when punching letter size pages. Otherwise you have to press each lever down separately to make punches for one letter page.

Decent Little Punch
I really love this little punch. It does better than I thought it would based on other reviews I read, so I took a video of how well mine works. In the video I just used some scrap pieces of regular printer paper and purposefully fill it to it's max capacity of what will physically fit in it. You can see I have to put a lot of pressure on it to punch that many pieces of paper at a time, but it was doable. My tips for punching multiple pages at a time and not ruining your paper: -Make sure all of your paper is fully into the punch otherwise you're going to (obviously) end up with crooked punches. -Make sure it punches all the way through. You can hear as soon as it "clicks" all the way through. If you didn't "click" then try again, as long as you didn't move your paper it will still be aligned perfectly. -Once you are done punching, jiggle the handle like you see me do in the video. When you punch that many pages at a time, the punches like to get stuck down where your paper is. When you jiggle the handle, you can feel and hear them pop back up to their start position. If you can't get it by jiggling the handle, gently jiggle the paper and between the two motions they have popped up for me every time. If you don't do this and just pull your paper straight out, you will probably rip the paper when you're pulling it out of the punch. Hopefully all that was clear and helpful!

and while they are all great, you have to factor is if its really ...
First of all, let me say that this is a very niche system. I have the full sized levenger notebook shell, junior, and compact, and while they are all great, you have to factor is if its really worth your money. The portable punch is okay and allows you to punch about 2 pages at a time comfortably. There is an easy guide to make sure you punch the right size each time, but it also feels cheaply made; something that doesn't feel durable or can take a light beating. While it is convenient to be able to quickly remove and place pages, you can do something similar with a binder and sheet protectors for a fraction of the cost. It may not be as compact or clean looking, but you really wont have the need to make on the fly changes that you couldn't do with a binder. Also, you might want to consider purchasing heavier paper, mainly because your regular of the mill paper will bend and loose its hold over time. Overall, I am okay with the puncher and system, but again, with tablets and cloud computing, this really won't fit in your life for long.

Excellent
Great buy! So far, I was able to punch 6 thick pages from a previous planner with no problem. The second batch of old pages I had to do twice to get it to punch all the way through, but I have no qualms with having to do that. However, I would rather not get too testy with it, as it needs to last with the tight budget I am on for now. I am awaiting my new printer to print out planner templates I made for the ARC planner, and will update this review tomorrow night after testing it out once more. All in all, worth the affordable price!

It works perfectly
I bought this for my staples arc notebook and it works perfectly, a really good cheap alternative to the staple arc hole punch which is far too expensive for a uni student. Other reviews have said they can only punch one page at a time but I've manged to punch 3 with ease, It's lightweight and slim enough to carry around in my backpack so I always have it on hand. Highly recommend.

No funciona
Tuve que regresar la perforadora porque no hacía bien las funciones, no perforó bien ni siquiera una hoja, mejor adquirí otro producto de la misma marca pero de mejor calidad

Good product
Works well. Its light portable and easy to manage. I love disc binding , since I can do this at home. You also need to get the circa discs separately, this is a special punch and is not for the regular ring binders
