While I haven’t used these yet for my sourdough ferments (they just arrived today), I’m sure they will do a good job of letting me know when the dough had doubled. HOWEVER - these arrived taped together on all four sides with the stickiest Gawd awful tape I’ve ever encountered. It’s going to be a major pain getting the gunk off.

I like the size, the volume labels are easy to read, and the lid seems strong and easy to remove.CONS:However, upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that it had several permanent scuff marks (scratches) on the outside container. It was packed container in a container, so the inside container was protected by the outside one. Also, the packing tape and the product sticker (especially the sticker) did not easily come apart from the container when I attempted to slowly peel it off. Some parts were stuck to the container and tore away from the rest of the tape. I could not aggressively scrub it during the wash or I risked scratching it more. So, after gently scrubbing it, I am left with one nice container and one container that has scuff marks and glue all over it.Overall, I am pleased with the use of these storage containers, and disappointed with appearance. This is not a pretty sight to display flour and I definitely did not pay to have a damaged product (even if I find a way to remove the glue it still has permanent scuff marks). The Seller should seriously consider placing the containers in protective packaging and placing anything with glue on another surface other than the product itself, such as the packaging.

These hold up well. Great quality.

I like to cook big meals and store them in the fridge to eat over the work week. My problem, in the past, has been to find a container big enough to store a big meal I made in my crock pot. These containers are basically unbreakable, easy to clean and can easily hold a whole cook chicken with space to spare. The top pops on and holds securely. My only complaint, if I wanted to be very critical, is that sometimes you really need to press hard to get the top to fully seat.
