Reasonable price, excellent condition & good sound quality
The speakers arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I replaced the front speakers in my 2006 Toyota Avalon and the improvement in sound quality was significant. I had recently replaced the rear door speakers with a set of Boss 6.5" 3 way speakers and these compliment them very well. I listen to everything from audio books to rock and I have listened for and not found any distortion at any volume levels. I had considered purchasing an amp with them, to help drive them, in case they needed it to prevent distortion at low volume levels but it was unnecessary. I would write as many reviewers do, something like, for the price you can't do much better, but that would imply that I know of some expensive speakers that sound better, but I do not. Before replacing the speakers in my Avalon, every other car in our family had a much better sounding OEM stereo system. Now my car stereo sounds better than the others.

Blown
I had these nice speakers installed my car professionally a few days after I received them back in June 26th. Yep and I got blown speakers now not too happy about it I don't know if I should order new ones or just get different kind

Great, but not worth five stars.
The GOOD: These speakers have a nice bass response, which I'm sure will get even better when I -eventually- get an amp for them. The tweeters and mid-range are very high performance. They may not be Polk or Pioneer, but they are very good speakers for the average person. The BAD: The tweeters start to distort like crazy if you turn up the bass on your deck to even +1. If you have an independent subwoofer and amp, this is no problem as you can turn up the gain or up the bass booster settings (if available). Again, I'm sure the quality of the bass will increase if I hook them up to a two-channel amp, but the lack inability to increase the bass from the deck is a minor drawback. Also, twisting on the nuts requires two people: one person to hold the offset screwdriver, and one person to take a wrench and lay in the trunk and twist the nut on. Still good speakers, though. The UGLY: These are two personal problems, as The UGLIES usually are, and probably won't apply to everyone. 1) In my '00 Accord, the right passenger seatbelt is covered by a large piece of plastic that is also the speaker grill. I have no idea why Honda decided to inseparably connect two important, but individual, ascetic features, but whatever. So I had to cut the factory grill/seatbelt thingy off because this speaker wouldn't fit under it, and now there's some ugly metal and plastic exposed. In general, replacing factory speakers isn't always made easy by the manufacturer. 2) The magnet of the midrange speaker somehow disconnected from the metal bracket that holds it above the speaker, so whenever the midrange or woofer moved, it rattled. This was definitely not my fault - it came like that out of the box. It was easily fixed by some carefully placed superglue, but still annoying. All in all good speakers, especially for their price!, but if you want to be blown away, go with something higher in quality (and price).

SOUNDS AWESOME! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
Oh my God, installed these in our 98 Honda Prelude and they sound amazing! Soooo much better than the ones we had in here. They fit nice and snug as if the car is hugging them with joy lol! The holes for the screw line up perfectly! When we played music only turned the volume up to 15 and it was already rattling the mirrors so they definitely have bass and music came through nice and clear. Most definitely recommend and more than likely will buy some more in the future. Thank you! Very pleased with this product!

Great quality!
I love these speakers. I put them in my 1999 Jeep and they sound awesome! I love the red color, you can even see it through the door! The bass is good quality with my stock stereo. I am very satisfied with this purchase. They are a bit too big circumference wise to fit all the way in my doors but they fit just fine. Apparently the spot for the speakers on the Jeep is not a true 5X9.

Great sounding speakers, but boss needs better QA.
Pros: These speakers sound great when they work. You can hear every sound crystal clear. Your highs, mids, lows, everything. They were only 30 bucks when I got them from amazon, so you can't beat that! Oh and amazon is the only place I've found that still has return shipping for free so I love it!!!Cons: When I got the speakers, it looked like they were used. The tops were scratched up and had fingerprints all over them, but everything else looked untouched. Probably like that from the factory. Another thing is that after installing them, one of the speakers was possibly blown out. You could hear it rattle and crackle at low to mid volume, but at high it goes away. I tried cranking it all the way up to possibly fix a stuck coil as I've heard this can fix it but that didn't help. So I had to send it back and I'm awaiting a second pair. Just glad amazon covers shipping or I would have just bought another pair.Other Thoughts: I put these into a 2001 cavalier with a base system, so it will be quite a pain to put these in if you have one. You have to first take off all the trim around the back of the rear doors if you have them, then you have to pull the cover up, and out to get to your speakers. After that, cut and splice or solder your ends after finding which wires go where with a wiring diagram, then pretty much force these speakers into the plastic frame that's slightly to small for some reason. The final task you have to do is cut holes in the top piece so your new speakers will fit through, then find screws that will fit from lowes as well as making sure they are long enough/not to long to go through the speaker cover, the top piece, and the speaker frame without hitting the metal plate. About an 1 1/2 will do it. After all that, you can put it back together. Now as far as why Chevy decided to do this stupid crap I have no idea, besides the fact that they don't want you doing anything with your car anymore except taking it to a dealership. I really love the old way of just dropping them out from in the trunk. But still, its worth doing this if you wanna save money. If not, just fork out the cash to get a "professional" to do it.
