Review: Perfect for dog crates - We live in a very hot area, so even though we keep the A/C and fans running 24/7, it can still get warm inside our house. We crate train our puppy, so I often worry about her getting dehydrated. We tried putting a bowl of water in her crate, but she just kept spilling it. That’s why we bought this to keep in her crate. The water bottle has been a great buy so far. Super easy to install inside her crate and refill whenever it gets empty. It doesn’t leak except when she’s drinking from it, but that’s to be expected, especially since she’s a messy drinker with her water bowl, too. She took to it really quickly, just had to put some peanut butter on the nozzle, and she figured out that she could drink water from it. Highly recommend this to other dog owners who crate train. My dog loves this water bottle!

**Q: Some of the pictures show a longer metal spout than others. Is there an actual size difference?**
A: Not sure about the size difference but please don’t believe the “no leak” claim. Our leaked a lot!

**Q: Just received these in the mail yesterday and this morning both are empty. My two rabbits couldn’t have drank that much in one night. Is there a tri?**
A: Rabbits need water in a dish, not a drip bottle. They drink a lot of water, and it's unnatural for them to have to get it from a bottle like this, they need a large, low dish for water. It could he that yours is leaking, or more likely they are drinking it all because it isn't enough water for them. We rescue rabbits, and I always end up donating the drip bottles people used for them to the animal shelter for Guinea Pigs or hamsters.

**Q: Is this okay for a Guinea pig?**
A: No, this is too big.  The diameter is 13mm, and guinea pigs should be 10mm.  The Choco Nose H128 is the one you want.  Unfortunately, I purchased this when I read the other person's answer and had to make a second purchase.

I suppose the bottle is a bit small, but we refill it daily so the water is fresh.

**Q: Anybody knows what other bottle (preferably glass) the nozzle can retrofit with?**
A: Lixit Chew Proof Glass Small Animal Bottle, 26-oz or Lixit Chew Proof Glass Small Animal Water Bottle, 16-oz bottle. I use this nozzle with these bottles for my maltese pack. Don't know why it says only for large dogs, my prefer 22 mm more than 16 mm (weight range from 5 lbs to 10lbs)

Sturdy and easy to use

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best water bottle EVER!!!

The first thing I did, was switched out the bottle part with a liter soda bottle. Although, I read on here someone else used a 2 liter bottle. I have a large dog, so I got the pink one. For people who are having trouble getting their pets to use this, for dogs, smear a little peanut butter or Cool whip 😁 or whatever you think they might like, onto the nozzle. Same with cats, smear on some can cat food, some dogs might like that too. The company really should include this information as part of a tutorial. I understand some people are having difficulty with getting cats to get out enough water, there is an extremely long review on here which recommends which model to choose for cats. (Because their little tongues are so delicate with such a light touch) These really truly are the best water bottles I've ever used. From hamsters to my Big Bella. Getting ready now to get another one for my daughter's big dog. Note, remember after you fill it up at the sink and put the nozzle back on, flip it over and knock the nozzle just a bit to remove the air. ALSO, when you go to attach it back onto the crate (whatever) make sure you hear two clicks. Especially, for us one's who switch out for a larger bottle. That way you shouldn't have problems with it falling off.
