It's what is used my cities to treat water
I picked this over chlorine bleach to treat the well water I added to my RV fresh water tank. The smell and taste are far superior. I now keep it around for the times we are traveling or boon-docking and are adding untreated water.

I'am storing water for emergencies, I purchased this product, but, could not find a formula for a gallon of water.But I figured it out. A 1/4 tsp per gal., 1/2 tsp per 2.5 gal., 1tsp. per 5gal. and 1tsb. or 1oz. per 30.
