Tactical Dog Leash

I'm using a couple of leashes with my 7 month old female dalmatian. I purchased this to help with her pulling and some of her puppy impulses while on a more typical leash. I also bought this for the seatbelt buckle it has built in. First, immediate improvement of on-leash behavior and control. Even with a traditional collar. I've since added a harness. The elastic bungie is a big help in curtailing her sudden sprints without whipping her around. The carabiner clip is impressively strong! Solid choice there! Be sure to use with a collar or harness with an appropriately sized D-ring. Traditional collar D-rings work, but it's awkward because of the smaller size. I'll follow up later with a review of the seatbelt buckle. The only drawbacks, and they are minor, are its lack of more robust handles. In particular, a short handle that has a slightly longer reach near the carabiner clip would be nice. I have to stoop a bit to control her with the short handle. A couple of extra inches in length of that short handle versus the strap that the leash has would change that dramatically. Definitely well worth it!

I love this leash! It is so practical and the perfect length for my short chihuahua mix! The bungee is very strong and great quality, and the seatbelt buckle works GREAT in the car, it keeps my dog more stable and safe in the car! The pattern is so cute too! The grip on the handle is super great and comfortable. I use the clip at the bottom of the handle to poo bags and it works so well! The clip is super sturdy and has a lock on it to keep your dog secure at all times! I have had this leash for a few days now and i am VERY happy with it! The only little problem is the handle at the bottom i can't reach because my dog is so short, and so that makes me think the leash is ment for taller dogs, but its not that big of a deal because she is not strong or pulley. So overall great leash and i would recommend! How I rate the products- 5 Stars = Exceeded my expectations. Love it and will buy again. 4 Stars = Exactly what I was looking and hoped for. Some issues. 3 Stars = Satisfactory. Minor, acceptable issues but it does the job. 2 Stars = Wouldn't recommend or buy again. May work for you but did not for me. 1 Stars = Complete waste of a product. Went to trash

I love everything about this leash! It is perfect. I bought it primarily for the seat belt clip because my Lab mix likes to climb all over while I am driving. 😩 The seat belt clip works so well! The leash also has a padded handle that is really comfortable. It has a heavy duty bungee cord built in one section that works really well as a shock absorber and decreases pulling. The leash clip that attaches to the collar swivels 360 degrees which keeps tangles to a bare minimum. The hardware is heavy duty and the quality of the entire leash is super impressive. There is a grab handle lower down on the leash that is super handy if you need to keep your dog close. I bought the blue and purple camo and the colors are pretty and vibrant. I had never heard of HotSky or used a tactical leash before but I wish I would have found them sooner! I plan on buying a couple more.

I like the fit of this leash, it fits well with my collar for my Great Pyrenees, who is also my medical dog. It is easy to use, and I like how when it fits to a collar, it closes shut and it doesn't easy fall off the collar like many other leashes do. It's a soft leash fabric wise, which is nice. It's nice that can adjust the leash, that I can let it go loose, or I can hold the handle closer to her if I need to for more stability or control when needed. Overall, a great quality leash, and I highly recommend it.

I love this leash. It's been great for me to introduce my dog to people. The second handle has been teaching her to slow down. The only negative is the locking carabiner doesn't last, I've had the leash 10 months and the locking feature has failed.

I bought this leash 2 years or more ago and it has seen some wear and tear but never once let me down! If you have a dog that may be need socializing, or has fears of other people and animals this leash and a martingale collar it perfect for you fur baby! It has the double Hadley for control, as well as a bungee stretch that helps take the pull off your and puts it back on the dog, it has the seatbelt buckle to buckle them in the car, and both handles have comfortable grip. Recommend highs!!!

I’ve been using this leash w/ my 9yr old , 107 lb dog for a couple months now. It’s amazing !!! She’s hefty, politely stubborn lol & strong af for an old chunky lady haha. Unfortunately, I have my unfair share of painful medical conditions. Her pulling would cause so much pain, that I physically couldn’t take her on many walks, if at all. Leaving only the backyard for exercise & recreation. This leash actually allows me to regain control, when she gets a bit too ambitious, without feeling the full force of her tugs. I believe the bungee feature of this leash is what allows her to be guided instead of pulled. Absorbing a lot of her strength. Encouraging her to fix herself instead of me “fighting” against her. Along w/ her tactical harness ; the pain from simply walking my elderly best friend has greatly decreased. Giving both of us a better quality of life. She deserves the world. This leash helps me do what I can , while I can & while my baby is still here with me. Going to be ordering another one here soon for our new fur baby ! I’d only change the fabric where my hand goes, but that’s just me lol. That fabric gives me the ick. So, I do wear it up on my elbow, over a jacket / long sleeve, so I don’t gotta touch lol. But that’s it. I love this leash !

Beyond impressed with this! I bought this for a 55lb pitbull we're fostering and it has held up so good! She's strong and pulls at times, and this thing hasn't torn, snapped, etc. Great quality for price. It's soft, love that is has the rubber handle for a closer grip. The metal clasp is good quality, durable.
