This is a great headlamp! I am getting back into running, and a bunch of my running friends have convinced me to run with them at 5:30 in the morning. It is dark! All of my friends had headlamps, and I figured out very quickly that I needed one, too. I went right to Amazon to do some looking around, and read a lot of reviews. I decided on this particular headlamp. I liked the idea of it being a bit smaller, with only one battery instead of three, and I liked the output of light it offered. It was a bonus that it came with a neat carrying case and battery. I received it quickly, inserted the battery, and I was in business. One of my friends noticed that my headlamp was working much better than her lamp, and asked me which one I had. I've had a couple more ladies ask me about it since then, too. It works really well. I have recommended it, and after having it for two months, I am thinking about changing the battery for the first time. I feel that this is acceptable. It feels comfortable on, and is easily tightened or loosened. It does not need to be readjusted when you run. I feel like I purchased the perfect headlamp for me.

Headlamp gets hot when running for extended period. Battery life completely sucks. Maybe 4 hours on the medium setting, at 40 lumens, with rechargeable lithium batteries. The alkaline duracell wasn't any better.Headlamp cannot be run on high setting, the battery and light get dangerously hot, and the battery burns out within 2 hours or so.It's lightweight, and pretty water resistant. I could deal with the heat if it had long battery life, but don't waste your money. Get a Petzl or Black Diamond headlamp.

What can I say except that these work great for getting into the woods before sunrise and back out after darkness falls. The battery life is exceptional, lasting a whole hunting season. I bought a second unit for working under the house, and 2 additional units for my sons-in-law as Christmas presents --they love them too . . .

Perfect for running, one battery so far has lasted over 40 hours of run time. I keep it on low just so I am seen, I don't use it for seeing the road. On trails I switch to bright and it works well. Imagine the battery would die faster if I left it on high all the time, maybe 24 hours or so.

I purchased this for my son, who heads up the tech crew for his high school. He also interns at a community theater and is starting his BFA in Lighting and Sound design this fall. He reports that this light is excellent for loading in equipment and working on trusses with heavy lights and projection equipment, particularly where you need both hands available for climbing and rigging.

Love the dim / red light to protect vision and circadian rhythm. We have had if for over a year and still going strong.

OK product, nothing amazing.

Nice! Super lightweight. Battery compartment a little goofy, I can see the latch breaking easily, was hard to close but overall for the price they work great!
