We bought a cover to keep it clean and a solar cover for warmth. The walls are tough, even set up on a slight incline. Used it approx 6 weeks in 2022 and 6 weeks in 2023 (one fill per season, with floating chlorine dispenser). This year it developed a small tear in the bottom (our fault, used only a thin tarp underneath and the kids got some sand in there). Otherwise no leaks anywhere.
