Pele: The Autobiography

It’s a feel good autography. Don’t expect anything too crazy of it though.

Bought this for my son he was delighted with the book and everything that came inside the book delighted with purchase

Pele starts from his childhood and we all fall into his narration and we travel with him from Brazil to rest of the world and we laugh when happy things happen and contemplate when traumatic things happen and he jumps back to normalcy. I cannot imagine a single point where the books energy slows down. Atlast we get to know how it was to be Pele though not everyone is lucky to be so. Delivery and packing was good. Adios

This is a very honest book where a super achiever like Pele shows enough humility to admit his mistakes and shortcomings without losing grace and dignity. His confidence in his footballing abilities on the field is amazing; one also has to respect the fact that he has never done an ad for tobacco, liquor and drug companies notwithstanding phenomenal temptations. He is candid about his humble roots, his friends, political beliefs and the women in his life - issues which celebrities tend to obfuscate in general. Finally, his comparison of footballers particularly between Maradona and himself, probably could not have been conveyed more pleasantly.
