Works great to hold my phone in place where I can see while driving

I have a terrible memory so this really works to hold my phone on the guitar headstock. It is very sturdy and it can be adjusted easily. It does add some weight to the neck but still worth it.

I really like the mount so far, it has already worked alot better than one I had previously. It attached to the end of my bass and was pretty stable especially when I tried jumping around it held on and didnt slip. HOWEVER, it is HEAVY. im sure depending on your phone and instrument it could vary, I have a bass that doesn't weigh too much so to me if felt like I was carrying a thick electric guitar instead of my bass so it wasnt too bad, but if you have a large phone, and a heavy instrument just be prepared to be sore from holding it up or just sit down and play. It seems stable, i havent had any issues with it breaking. The only issue ive struggled with is actually opening the clip as it takes a ridiculous amount of force to open it (unless im just weak) Ill be using this on my tiktok for anyone interested! The picture shows the phone holder distanced from the ball join to allow the phone to rotate fairly freely, but it sits much closer on the actual product. This makes it nearly impossible to position correctly with a larger phone like the iPhone 16 Max. The clamp is also very stiff and will most likely cause damage to any painted headstock and even indent some wood. The piece that holds the phone also feels very cheap and flimsy, making it easy to drop my phone.

This is a great and strong clamp overall but is NOT a good one for any guitar, IMO, without adding thick and grabby pads under both sides of the clamp, and even then its range of movement with the supplied phone mount is inadequate for differing (artistic) framing from landscape to portrait. It's pictured here with a phone mount I already had, allowing every possible wanted angle, so it's definitely useful now. As shipped, is IS perfect for clamping a heavy DSLR onto a 2x4 or any nearby smaller tree branch. Cumple con su función. La pinza para colocar el móvil es muy corta, temrine por colocar un soporte para colocar mi teléfono en un trípode que compre en en el pasado. No es de fácil manipulación, la mariposa para apretar el soporte al momento de colocarlo de vista frontal al mástil o diapasón deja muy poco espacio para poder apretar o aflojar. La pinza con la que se sujeta a la la cabeza de la maquinaria de encordado es de buena calidad tiene la presión necesaria para no moverse o caerse y no matrata la madera de mi guitarra, por estas razones lo califico con 3 estrellas. Pudo ser mejor el producto

This thing is solid, and doesn't shake while moving around recording. The less expensive ones had bad reviews but this thing is great!
