DecoArtCrafter's Acrylic Paint, 2-Ounce, Antique Gold

Worst paint I've dealt with this far kept pooling and parts would dry why other parts would stay wet. Easily came off even after being dry. Kept overnight then when trying to paint a second coat the first coat would start flaking off and would run in with the new paint. Will never use this brand again going to keep to apple barrel it's cheaper and much better quality

This was my first time using acrylic paint in at least years. However, I was pleased with the paint. It was smooth and not gloppy. Easy to apply, it didn't really streak or go on unevenly like some paint has a tendency to do. I will say the paint dries to a slightly lighter tone then what it goes on as, however this was good for me, because at first I thought it was going to be a bit dark for my purposes. So, if you're looking for great paint at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend this!

Item arrived without seal intact and with less product than I expected. I think it was used and then sold to me at full price or it wasn't sealed well enough so that it was damaged during shipping. Made a mess so I requested and received a refund.

I liked the color I specified, maroon. It came next day and each bottle of paints were rolled up in spill proof plastic even though bottles were sealed. I appreciated that. I could go downtown and buy paints cheaper but it is difficult for me to get around sometimes. The extra cost is worth the head ache I wouldve had with trying to find parking, reading small labels and then the store might not have what I need.

This line of paints from DecoArt are not sold in any of the craft stores around me, they only carry their "Americana" line. I a set of these paints as a black friday deal and fell in love with this Cool Blue color. It's the perfect sky blue with just a tiny hint of grey in it so I use it as a base in most of my skylines and backgrounds. I was pretty excited to find it again! This paint is about middle of the road for consistency. Not as thin as Apple Barrel but not as thick as Folk Art and has enough pigment that it can be watered down as a wash and not loose color or separate.

I bought several brands from Amazon for this project, and while this was not the worst paint, it wasn’t the best, either. This paint is the orange “R” - it went on much more smoothly and with a better finish than the Darice brand purple paint, but was equally transparent in coverage. There are two coats of this on the “R” - compare to one coat each on the green “E” (same brand, different type) and blue “A” (Apple Barrel brand). Not a bad paint at all - just not great for a craft where I needed better coverage.

I've been ordering this kind of paint for almost a year now and I keep ordering it,so you can figure I'm liking it. I'll keep coming back, as long as the muse makes an occasional appearance.Thanks!Shelley

I usually use Folk Art acrylic paints but wasn't able to get it quickly in person due to COVID so I ordered it here. Amazon was spot on, it's just that the product itself does not cover as well or as evenly. When I can find a good array of Folk Art paint via Amazon I will get it!

As well as this, the paint is very thin and watery, not a consistency you would expect for an acrylic, and it takes 4 coats to get a solid colour on a white background. Makes ugly colours when mixed with other paints. Do not buy.

I knew that my product would take a few days to deliver as I was informed at the outset. However, after receiving an email to say it had been dispatched I contacted them wondering if they could give me an ETA. Within a couple of hours I had a very polite response with all the info they could give me. The product arrived, as and when expected and I am very pleased with both product and service. The yellow is a beautiful daffodil yellow. Super and easy to use.

Too thin and watery. Not at all like you would expect acrylic paint to be. Takes 4 coats on a white background to get solid colour you see on bottle. Go with another brand and choose "Ultramarine Blue" for same but better colour, something like System 3 or Liquitex Basics. Seriously, this paint is a transparent disappointment.

This made my paint fantastic, it was very thin and it mixed brilliant with my acrylics! Worked so well on the fabric!
