Ruthless Creatures: Queens & Monsters, Book 1

What a wonderful book! J. T. Geissinger is the queen of epic twists in all her books I have read and this series is no exception. Intense. I love an alpha male that falls instantly... And Kage delivers deliciously! So steamy my kindle was smoking. Well written and a wonderful twist you didn't see coming. I can't wait to see Sloane's story unfold... I know this is going to be amazing! Love this series.

I’m not that far in the book, but so far it good, but my only problem is the page are coming out, like they wasn’t properly put together, and I don’t want to return it cuz this is the second time (different book) that this has happened. This is the second page in this book that this has happened to and I’m only on page 7 in the book!! I had started a book and the page was coming out the same way and I had to return it and get a a new and and I started on this book and now the same thing is happening. Probably just going to use super glue but I’m a big book reader and this is very disappointing.

DNF only because I was bored. It was about the tamest written Mafia book I've tried to read. I made it to chapter 14 and decided I rather move on. There was nothing wrong with the storyline, characters, ect so that's why I'm still rating this as a 4 star book. Sadly this was a first for me. This book was recommended in a post in one of my fb group pages. For me it just missed the mark for the group it came from, lol. I'm sure it's probably a great book, but I just need more.

Really one of the Best mafia romances that I've read lately 😃. Fantastic characters, intense action, a wonderful alpha male, a shy but learning female and a great storyline made reading this book Awesome 😊. Thanks J.T. I'm looking forward to reading more 🤓.

I mention this because a story plays out like a movie in my mind when I am immersed. The movie stops when I encounter a grammatical issue / error, issues with plots, storylines, etc. That is why I like to list when 2+ are found.This is the first story I have read by J.T. Geissinger. Despite the darker themes, I found myself laughing out loud multiple times throughout the story. I don’t know if this is the normal writing style or not, but if so, I am a fan. I loved the dialogue between the characters and the things that her and Sloane talk about are out there as well. I have a really close friend that I can have open conversations without filtering everything. That type of relationship is so rare! Can’t wait to read the next in the series!This story and series are about the mafia. Natalie is stuck in a rut, not finding herself moving on from a missing fiancé. It has been 5 years since he disappeared the morning of their rehearsal dinner. Officially he can be declared dead now, which doesn’t make it any easier. She has tried dating, but no one has caught her attention or interest. Her BFF, Sloane, talks Nat into going out to a local bar iso getting drunk at home, which is how she has handled it every year to date.While out that evening, Sloane and Nat spot a total alpha male … whew, is he hot!! After Sloane strikes out with him, which apparently never happens to her, the town busybody tells them that he paid for his house in cash and that he was Nat’s new next door neighbor! Sloane tells her that unless Nat goes home with him, she is going to spend the night to watch over her.Nat decides to approach him, introduce herself, and see if he will take her home to avoid the whole Sloane staying over thing, but he turns her down as well … Then the next morning, Kage shows up to her house as she is trying on her wedding dress before she takes it to a consignment shop with Sloane. He seems shocked to see her in a wedding dress. Almost against his will he admits that she is beautiful, but the dress doesn’t suit her.After leaving Nat sees him taking out his anger on the only thing in his living room, a punching bag, and growling out his frustration. Nat and Sloane speculate that he must be a recent widow because of his reaction. Later that night when Nat is out having a birthday celebration dinner and sees Kage, he asks her to join him. She decides to so she can apologize for her comments earlier in the day.Kage quickly sets her straight about being married, engaged, widowed, or even involved. Then proceeds to tell her what he wants from her …

JT Geissinger has truly changed my life. Just read everything she’s ever wrote or touched. This book is no exception to her perfect writing streak. I am so thankful.

This book is absolutely amazing!The chemistry between Kage and Nat is just 🥵The storyline/plot is SO good too. Finished this book in one day and can’t WAIT to read Sloane’s story.As far as writing style, anything JT writes is a masterpiece. The communication between all the characters is top tier and that’s what hooks you in. The banter, the humor, everything is 5 ⭐️

What a great story!! Loads of action, suspense, twists and of course steamy sex scenes!!I have to say that Kage has moved into my top 5 book boyfriends...he is so controlling, dominating but oh so sweet and romantic! As for Nat, well I loved her Sass and friendship with Sloane!!This book literally had it all, written so well, I just didn't want it to end!I can't wait to read more from this author!

I borrowed this on Kindle Unlimited because one of my favourite authors recommended it on her Facebook page. I love BDSM style stories and this is hot. I love the passion and the way the author explains what Nat feels during their encounters. If you have ever had a little BDSM play in the bedroom, then you can completely understand what she feels. I have never read the experience in such a way before. I had to share the two chapters of the spanking scene with my husband because I wanted him to understand exactly what I feel when we play. It is so descripted. I also love that the book isn't all sex and no story. I do understand how some reviewers feel, the plot could have been added to and a bit more of their story put in, but I still loved it and already recommended. I will definitely be reading more by the author.

I loved this book. The characters were great and the story was good.I love Kage. God, the mouth on that man. I loved how someone so tough and ruthless could also be so romantic. I loved Nat as well. She’s been through so much and get’s thrown into the crossfire without knowing why.The story is good. You keep wondering what Kage is hiding. He should have told her earlier because the way it came out wasn’t ideal. Natalie was always going to react badly.I loved Kage’s devotion to her. He made a choice, which was her, and he stuck by it no matter what. The spark between them was great and I loved how her always waited for her permission to do anything. The situation wasn’t ideal between them, but they had feelings that they couldn’t deny. In the end, Kage made everything right.Sloane was brilliant as well. I loved the conversations between her and Natalie. The epilogue was great and I’m so glad that she’s getting her own book. I’m looking forward to reading it.Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. Damn he really knows what he wants doesn’t he? I loved him and I loved that he wanted her so badly. I loved the way he did pursue her he wasn’t an as* about things either (sometimes)I loved watching Kage’s heart warm to Natalie and I loved watching her fall in love with him it was such a lovely story and the connection between them was 🔥.I don’t have anything bad to say about this book to be honest I liked everything about it, Sloane and Declan’s story is something I’m really excited about I love that we got a glimpse of how it starts at the end of this one! I’m bad for not moving on to the next book in a series but I have 0 problems moving on to book 2 with this one!
