The plastic used to make these is very heavy and durable. No fear of snapping it.I use this to take notes with in college. Very handy for differentiating texts. The different colored inks are useful for recording problem solving steps in math classes or writing side-notes in English classes. Also great for proofreading/grading. I try to avoid highlighting things because it looks sloppy and tends to bleed through or fade. If you want brighter colors or aren't worried about looking professional,  BIC 4 Color "Fashion Colors" Medium Point Ball Pen - 2pk (ast)  is a nice alternative.

This pen is easy to carry and it works as promised. There is nothing wrong with the design, you need to change color on the ink, all you do is press down the color you need. Simply as that, no more carrying 4 different color pens. Highly recommend this product if you need different color ink on your documents.

Works flawlessly, and gives me the option of color coding notes. Green for plants, red for animals, black for finances, and blue for shopping lists.

This pen is awesome for taking notes. The writing is smooth. The only color that is not that pigmented is the green color. But all the other colors write great. It has lasted my a long time as well.

These are true best pens to have, especially if you’re a nurse. I tend to have so many things in my pocket from meds, to saline flushes, that it makes no sense to carry more than one pen. With this pen having more than one color, I could carry this around and not worry about having 2-3 other colored pens for work. The ink on this last fairly long.

I don't know where I acquired the original one I had but I really loved it. All of the colors worked and the ink always flowed. It was my favorite pen. Fortunately, I was able to find it on the web and I ordered lots of them. I should have enough for the next 10 years. I ordered 5 boxes or 60 pens. I might give one or two pens away but I might not.

I can't find these in stores anymore, so I had tried other 4-color pens. Found that other brands came apart (barrels stripped). Bic brand is sturdy and writes better. I will definitely get them again. Only complaint is that the shipping cost about 5 times as much as the pen, but I don't do a lot of online shopping, so maybe this is normal.

This pen works great. The packaging was a bit exaggerating, it came in a really big ups envelope and was only sent as a pen; no BIC packaging, but overall it works and all 4 colors are there.

Good quality product even though it was ordered late at night still was ready for next day delivery.

Worth the price for 4 colours in one!
