Getting the Little Blighters to Behave: A practical guide to encourage good behaviour in children

Easy to apply tactics
I love these books by Claire Potter. I recently purchased “Getting the little blighters to behave” (after seeing good results from “getting the little blighters to eat”) and Immediately points 1&2 had an instant impact. I couldn’t believe it. Giving our 3 year old some 1on1 attention stopped her being so demanding & actually encouraged her to go off & play on her own....happily! It was incredible. So that is definitely a daily ritual. That’s what I love about these books...the advice is in manageable, ‘bite-size’ pieces, easy to apply & complete common sense. Parenting can seem all consuming at times but with these books it really helps to make each correctable behaviour feel achievable. Thank you 🙏🏻

Simple and effective advise well laid out!
I already had the getting them little blighters to eat book and didn’t know this book existed until it came up on a search. Another great one for the collection with simple and effective advise. The small chapters and simple advise made even the most anti help book people (my husband) pick it up and read to see how we can work together! Thanks for another great read.

Brilliant go-to guide
This is one of the best parenting books I've ever bought. I keep it on my bedside table and refer to it every few weeks! It takes only a few minutes to find the advice you need, and the advice is always packaged in such a common-sense, easy-to-implement way. There are countless tips I've picked up which I use daily with my three kids. And because it's so short, you can read the whole thing in an hour and then return to it whenever you need to. Buy it!

This is a gem of a book. Small and easy to read. Packed with useful tips, really easy to refer back to. We have many of the principles in place and they've really worked!

Excellent, concise and accessible advice for parents
As with her previous book, Getting the little blighters to eat, Claire Potter has written an excellent and concise guide for parents. Each page follows a similar format, giving advice and tips on how to handle behaviour, with some great illustrations throughout. It takes a little time, but you will see changes. Being consistent in following the advice is key. This is well thought out and researched. I highly recommend this book!
