I used this to wire surveillance cameras outside and through the attic. They are a little light weight, but It was probably what I needed. I will buy them again.

"High quality". Hmmmm.........
I've just moved house and wanted a LAN connection from the downstairs router to my upstairs office. The original idea was to run a cable along the front of the house & through the wall, and reading the ad I expected to receive a 'high quality' cable. Whilst I'm sure the internals are as stated, the outer covering could not be of a worse quality. Thin, tight, plastic-y and very, very shinyNaturally the cable is coiled on delivery but the coating is so cheap that it's almost impossible to straighten it. It was so bad that the chap who I called to fit it (Sky engineer) suggested it was run internally up into the loft & down again, as there was no way it'd straighten and would look atrocious fixed to external walls.Yes I could've returned it but time was of the essence from a work perspective.I VERY rarely leave poor reviews but I'm afraid this product warrants one. It works fine but if you're looking for a neat finish either internally or externally then try elsewhere.

Perfect cable for DIY cable routing jobs
Spot on cable. I saw some reviews for this item saying it would not go straight, constantly wanting to twirl itself back up. Ignore them. It is coiled up in the packaging. Just unwind it and straighten it out. Reverse the loops and twist it straight. It’s simple. If you want cable this length, you are probably restraining it in trunking or with cable grips anyway. The job I used it for involved going through tight holes in external wall, through conduit, buried in soil and through fairly tight bends in timber stud work. The first cable I used broke (that was a copper coated aluminium cable). A mistake. This one with solid copper cores is much much better. Very pleased.I was putting my own RJ45s and network socket jacks on this and only bought this finished cable because simple cable although plugs in was more expensive. For anyone doing the same, this cable was simple to work with. However it lacks a drawstring thread to pull on. Easy to strip back the ‘hard way’ though and crimps fine.

poor quality ... look elsewhere.
Not suitable for purpose.very thin protection and once tacked onto wall it didnt work as i suspect the protective covering was so thin even the wall clips was pressing into it and obviously damaged the cabling inside.Seller needed to have the cable returned before refund , however as i had already used it it was unsuitable to return.purchased another cable from another seller instead and no issues.

Great cat5e 50 metre cable - highly recommend
Excellent ! Perfect network cable .. running between virgin modem and a wireless router upstairs . No issues on speed although because it’s 50metres it has increased ping Time by an extra 2/3ms . Good build quality and fast delivery by amazon prime .

This cable isn't double sheathed, its just black CAT5E cable. I have run a 10M length outside and had to cut then ends off to pass it through a masonry wall. I did find that the cable kinks easily and a slight knock with a hammer when clipping it to the wall, broke the sheath. Not the best but does the job and is providing me with a gigabit connection which is what I wanted.
