it has been the best food we found for our old girl, she likes it and does not have any digestive issues. She had crystals in her urine a few years ago and has not had any since on this food. She also gets the dry Wysong uretic food.

My male cat had crystals and almost died. Vet prescribed Hills CD that you need a prescription. My cat tolerated the food for a bit but then developed an allergy to it. We did research and found this and he has been crystal free and healthy ever since.

Looking for alternative to prescription food with crappy ngredients and Wysong fit the bill with good quality and nutritous ingredients benefiting recently blocked kitty. A little pricey but a little less than the alternative and much healthier.Unfortunately will hesitate to buy here as Amazon delivery tossed the box up the step and over half cans (which are bot heavy duty) were dented. (And cat food cannot be returned, so...)Do recommend the food tho.

Been using this food since February as an alternative to a prescription diet for my cat who is prone to struvite crystals. Mac normally eats it without issue, but this last batch is different somehow because he now eats its so slowly that I have to throw the rest away after 3 hours because it's still sitting there. We feed him 4 times a day, small amounts with water added because of his history of FLUTD, so thankfully I'm not tossing much each time, but this was a non-issue with my previous cases. I'm now mixing it with another food he likes but he still isn't going after it like he used to. I don't know if the recipe changed or maybe it's just this batch, but this problem is new and hope it doesn't continue!Otherwise, it's a great food with good ingredients and a price point that is manageable for my family. I'm not fond of the consistency; wish it was a smoother pate as opposed to a crumbly ground beef texture, but that's a minor issue. Mac prefers pate but will eat this so I can't really complain about it.

You can possibly mix it with other cat food that cats love. It is frightening to smell and look at. Cats hate it. But like most I want a chicken based food for a cat with kidney issues. Keep looking

Updating this to add that we’ve fed this food to our two cats religiously for the past 2.5 years—we all love it. They’re happy and healthy, and my older cat with urinary issues consistently has blood work that comes back great!Original Review: Was so nervous to receive this after reading the reviews, but honestly? It just smells like cat food. Nothing more, nothing less. My two dudes took to it immediately, and it’s helped stop the tummy upset in my older cat. Have only been using it for about a week, but I’m keeping a good thought!

My cat loved it but it made him sick after a few days of trying to transition him from his old food to this one. I assume it’s because the ingredients were to rich and to different than what he had been used to eating previously.

Value for your money but my cat won't touch it for some reason he eats the wysong uretec dry chicken but not the wet.
