Good quality images and features
I live in an area where there is a lot of wildlife that comes through my yard and I really wanted to find out what kind of animal has been raiding my garden. This camera caught my attention because of the higher 1296P compared to the 1080p that are more common. I also wanted a camera where I can turn on and off the wifi mode remotely so I don't have to go to the camera to turn on the Wifi Mode, this comes with a remote control that you can use to turn on/off the wifi mode. This was a big plus for me and it has worked pretty well for me, I did not have to physically press the button on the camera every time I wanted to see what images the camera has captured. All you have to do is turn on the wife via remote and then you connect to the camera's wifi through your phone's app and you can access the photos and videos in the trail cam.The picture quality is really good, I kept the photo resolution at 24MP(Max) and both the day and night pictures were very crisp and clear. The videos captured were very detailed and there was no distortion, as you would see on lower quality trail cams. The only negative to this is you need to get a bigger SD card as it fills up 32 GB very fast. The packaging was ok, everything was securely in the box. I also wish it took fewer batteries, 8 AA batteries is a lot and I hope I don't have to replace these as frequently. The motion detection has been accurate and I kept the IR level in the lowest setting and it has been working pretty well for my needs. If you need a good-quality trail cam with nice features, this XTU Trial Cam is a great choice.

This didn’t work out for us!
I was very excited to get this product and it didn’t turn out to be what we expected. I thought because of the Wi-Fi connection we would be able to see it live, but that was not the case. I’m sure it must’ve said something along those lines in the description but this was our first purchase for this type of product. We have to do a lot more research before we purchase one of these again. I do want to say the product came packaged very well but the instructions left a lot to be desired and that is on the manufacturer!

I sent it back
I returned it. The wifi feature was a big part of my decision . . . . . and that did not work. There was an issue that made it nearly impossible to connect to wifi.

Good bang for the buck in a trail camera!
Ok, so I ordered this to replace an aging Bushnell trail cam that was SD only, no telemetry. This cost about the same as my old can, but had a few additional features that I thought would be helpful. There is an app I can use on my phone which allows me to connect to the camera via a wifi connection. To save the batteries (8 x AAs) you can turn the wifi connection on and off using the wrist mounted remote. Little complaint here, the buckle orientation is reversed. The app isn’t the most user friendly, but you can’t beat it for the price. Anything comparative by the big brand names will be well over $200. This was WELL below that! I took it up to the mountains recently to test it and used my daughter to trigger it. I was also able to use it remotely and view the camera feed from my phone. While hunting, this will let me see the deer coming my way or let me know if they have changed direction. I have yet to test all of the features of the app, so I don’t know yet If I will get alerts when the camera is triggered, but it has already proven its usefulness and utility as a trail camera.

Wanted to love, but just can't.
So I had one of these for about a year. For the price, I love the features, the setting options, the quality, the battery life. Some of the features are kind of unnecessary, like the wireless connect to your phone is cool, but because you have to use the app and have to be within about 40ft I find it isn't really usable. Anyway I would love these but they seem to be prone to failure. For fun I put on the timelapse before a snow and when I return the settings to normal use, they stayed stuck in time lapse and it's now pretty much useless as a trail camera. I thought it was a fluke, so I ordered a second since I really liked the operation. I had that one for a year now and the power switch is going out. In my stubbornness I ordered another one and straight out of the box the settings are frozen. Like the other camera, I change the settings and when you switch it off or to operation mode, it resets to the previous setup. I'm returning that one and this time won't do it again. Also returning the 2 solar panels I bought to go with it.

It doesn't work
I bought this for a gift for my husband. I have tried for the last 6 months to get it to work. 5 other people tried and it still doesn't work. Don't know what we are doing wrong. Would like to send it back but it has been too long.

Outstanding Customer Support
I purchased the camera a while back before installing it. On my first attempt to make wildlife photos I learned my camera was a faulty one as in rainy days water was getting behind the display and pictures turned out fuzzy. As my Amazon seller warranty had just run out, I contacted the manufacturer directly and explained what happened. They send me a replacement camera on short notice and we’re very helpful. Very good customer service- therefore 5 ⭐️

Update, company came through and replaced the faulty camera
I only got a reply from the company after posting a negative review but they did replace the camera and take care of things. They should respond to email better though. I hope they'll do better.Fairly happy customer now
