My wife purchased this for me, and I'm composing this review. This was purchased to attach a ZWO ASI224MC astronomy camera to a Baader Mark IV zoom eyepiece for astrophotography. The eyepiece has M43 threads and the camera has M42 threads. This adapter works perfectly and is significantly less expensive than the Baader adapter. Construction quality is very good and the threads are properly machined. Both the M42 and M43 threads engage smoothly with no binding. I bought this adapter ring to help me connect Canon T2 adapter ring to the Baader Hyperion Zoom eyepiece for taking Eyepiece Projection photography, especially for planetary pictures..
