Smooth-OnKX Flex 60 Pourable Urethane Rubber Elastomer Trial Size

I used this to solid fill the transmission mount on my two Ford Fiesta S manual transmission vehicles. The factory transmission mounts are so soft that they were almost completely ripped through at 40k miles and I wanted to stiffen them up some to avoid complete failure and improve transmission engagement (way too sloppy from the factory). You can get aftermarket urethane 80D mounts but 80D is too stiff for a daily driver and this is a good compromise at a 60D. You will feel the engine more in the steering wheel at idle but the engagement/response is so much better that it's worth it as well as the price of this kit allowed me to do both vehicles for less than the price of one aftermarket urethane 80D transmission mount and have plenty left over. The key to this fast setting urethane is to have everything set up and ready to go and to mix small batches (only the amount that you need for one at a time). I also follow the recommended heat cure process before reinstalling on the vehicle.

Used this product to fill in the voids of two motor mounts. Took several days of laying in the sun to completely setup. There was some leakage? Maybe I didn't throughly mix it? Used some black dye to color it. We'll see how it holds up.
