I liked verything about the drillbit set

Prior to purchasing these, I had always used DeWalt countersinks. Searching this site for DeWalt countersinks, I saw the FTG countersinks. I had never heard of them before, but the price was pretty good and they're made in the USA, so I gave them a chance. They seem to work just fine. I would recommend.

Seems like exactly what you want to pre-drill holes for joining cabinets. Maybe if the cabinets are pine? They will eventually drill into hardwood. Instead of the stop collar you can use your nose.. Smell burning wood? Probably as deep and this is going. Will it drill? Yes. Will it smell like a wood burner? Yes.Postscript. Ok, this wood is hard. Every cutting tool is working hard to saw or drill. I may have been too harsh before. The drill does exactly what you may want but it will take some time. Luckily, it is a small kitchen remodel.

I don't know if it's the fluted bit or the way the countersink part is made but these things absolutely chew through any wood that you're trying to countersink. I would highly recommend them.

I do a lot of woodwork and cabinetry, so I burn through countersinks like there’s no tomorrow. I know they can get pricey at times and I also just wanted to have some laying around so I don’t have to worry about running out them at the most inconvenient times. These countersinks work just as good as any other ones I’ve used. Also the gauge that you can put on it comes in handy when you don’t want the screws that deep. Definitely will buy another pack when needed

Use to bore a hole for a screw head, but prior to do this I notice it was not spinning stray.Bad made, also in the first hole drill the bit broke leaving the broken piece inside the drill hole.

The bits are solid. They cut well and keep their set up. The only problem is they need to be cleaned after every use so the dust build up doesn't impact the depth of cut. That's a few minutes with an awl digging out sawdust from the cutting wings.

These cheap bits are not balanced/spin true. This makes for larger diameter holes being drill. Can pose a problem depending on how off centre the bit is.

I find the 1/4 inch shank models break off too easily so ordered these. Not too flexible and the collars don't spin around. Recommended.

These are very poor quality. 3 of the bits were unusable. 3 marginally acceptable. Drill bits not straight. The Allen wrench included was the wrong size to add insult to injury. In this case, price was low so tried them. Poor decision on my part. Not worth the money. Any money. Keep shopping if you are tempted.
