I have bought MANY toys for my granddog and this is by far the best one. He is a bully/bulldog and he destroys EVERY toy within minutes. He literally has had this for 2 months so far and it's still intact! He loves it!

This was a great buy!! It’s the perfect level of firmness for my dog. I got the orange and black one and note that different colors correspond with different levels of “toughness”, so be sure to double check before you buy! I didn’t want anything too hard as he doesn’t like super hard chews, but nothing too flimsy he could easily chew to pieces and possibly ingest. This was a perfect happy medium for us. It’s great quality and has held up well so far, it’s been a few months. It was a total impulse buy and I remember thinking the price was a bit high, but I’m saving so much money in the long run considering how many cheaper versions of something like this I continue to buy that only last between a week and a month tops. Not to mention my 55-ish lb mixed breed loves it, so it’s worth every penny! I anticipate it to outlive many of the other toys/chews I bring through our door!

Edit: it is now June 10th, 2024 and this thing is still intact. There is one small piece gone but that I was a me doing so he wouldn't pull on the rubber piece he chewed on. He has since learned how to beat us with it to get us to grab it and play.Still regret this purchase. LolMy mums dog broke another pull toy, not uncommon for him at all and he's lucky to get a couple months out of a toy before destroying it or turning it into a shank. Sooo, I give Major a little early Christmas present on November 12th 2023 and now I regret it every single day.He loves this dang thing. Brings it to everyone in the house, does the whole pitbull shake trying to rip your arm out of its socket, chews it til he's covered it in saliva, sleeps with it, everything. It's been a month and a half of constant abuse and the toy has held up perfectly - me on the other hand, different story.

This tug toy seems to be durable. Our two dogs tug with it quite a bit and it doesn’t even have bite marks on it. The only reason for the 4 stars is that it is very heavy, which doesn’t seem to bother our two 34 lb. dogs but you definitely wouldn’t want to play fetch with this in the house because it would break anything it hit. I did purchase the larger size since our dogs love to play tug and I wanted the extra length and that has worked well but we definitely avoid playing fetch with it. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

My pittie has had this for a couple weeks now and there are no signs of wear! He demolishes most toys and can chew through almost anything, but this ihas really stood up to his big boy jaws!

This is a great tug toy for a dog of sufficient size. It’s built strong enough for tug games with large dogs. Smaller dogs may not have sufficient jaw size to firmly grip the thick rubber. I can’t tell you a minimum size dog, but it was fine for my Golden pup who was between 45-50 lbs when I bought this.My only concern is the price. Over $20 for a piece of rubber? I feel taken advantage of despite not being able to find something comparable on Amazon (which is why I gave up and finally bought it). Could this possibly cost more than a buck or two to manufacture??? If you live in an area with well stocked pet stores (I don’t), I’d definitely check to see what they have on their shelves. At the end of the day, you can decide whether it is worth it to you. You can be confident that you’ll get a quality product, however.And for heaven’s sake WRT to people complaining that their dog chewed this up, this isn’t a chew toy! It’s for tug games that are either with you or between dogs under your supervision. Don’t let them take it and start chewing. Ours is put away when we’re not playing. This has made the tug toy/game a huge extra special reward during training.

We've had this for a few months and my super aggressive chewer hasn't been able to put a scratch on it. This and his extreme Kongs (yes, Kongs because we got three of them, but that's a different review) are the only toys that have lasted.

I read the reviews on this you know the smelly plastic etc it's a reason that I purchased it is for the lifetime warranty and I don't know how that's going to work for me I have 190 lb male Cane Corso and he's a beast and toys not bad he brings it to me often and we play tug of war what I do it all over again for what it is for the money absolutely not I think that this product is even with a lifetime warranty that I have not had to take advantage of yet cuz he has yet to destroy it so I'll give the product that cuz normally he'll tear stuff up within seconds but this product is smell you know the smell is I don't know what they're talking about on the reviews smells fine it doesn't smell at all it's a piece of rubber but he does bring it to me and we play tug of war and the product seems to be holding up what I do it again for the money no I think the product is grossly overpriced I could do the same thing with the towel I could buy a pack of towels that my dog absolutely adores and you know I could play tug of war with them for a year before he destroys the ball and they cost me $10 so you know it's all generally you know I would say it's up to the individual dog owner you know the lifetime warranty hooked me it did hook me because he destroys every other toy so I was hooked by the lifetime warranty on the product I haven't had to use it yet cuz he has yet to destroy it but who knows in the future when I try if I try to attempt a lifetime warranty claim then we'll see what happens but I've added about a month probably longer a little longer and he has yet to destroy it or frankly even bite through it so we'll see what happens

My girl destroy everything in 2 seconds. I was scary about loose money. It’s been 5 month we have this one and don’t even have a teeth mark on!She use every day.

Our dog has had this toy for a little while and I was amazed he had not managed to destroy it. However a couple of weeks ago he bit into it and split it. The toy is not completely ruined and it continues to be his favorite toy- as he can play with it and his owner - by playing tug of war. Toy is split but not forgotten. I would probably purchase this toy again.

I bought this for a 8.2 kg Cavoodle dog, who has managed to destroy most of his toys . I’m sure he will never be able to destroy this, however given the weight of it or it’s smell he is not interested in playing with it either. I may try other toys in this brand , I’m sorry they didn’t make a version a little lighter for smaller dogs. Even peanut butter can’t entice him to chew on it. I know it’s branded for medium sized dogs , but he is not small and destroys most dog toys easily. Was worth a try, he may warm up to it .

I questioned myself about price before I bought this, but decided to give it a try knowing that I could return it if it didn't stand up. Surprise!! It is as tough as promised and it has become my dog's favorite toy. She plays with it, chews it, chases it, and looks for it when she wakes up. I highly recommend this if you have an aggressive chewer.
