Aigou Bird Spiral Rope Perch, Cotton Parrot Swing Climbing Standing Toys with Bell (Large - 94.4 inch)

I ordered one of these perches two year ago and it was well made, but when I reordered the "same" product in 2017 it was clearly NOT the same manufacturer or supplier because the design is totally different. The end-caps are cheaply constructed with bare wire, the diameter of the perch is smaller (used to be 3/4"-1" and now is only 1/2"), and the thread covering for the main perch is loose fitting on the internal wire (potentially a choke hazard since birds can now get under it and chew through the threads). The perch has an awful smell that does not clear even after days of airing out. Since it is made in China and smells horribly, I am now concerned that the dye used on the fabric is also a dangerous chemical for birds to be inhaling/chewing. Please do not expose your birds to this thing!

These are just fine and cheaper than what I have bought in the past. For 18 years, I've bought these types of bungie ropes for my B&G Macaw and Amazon parrots. They aren't going to last forever, birds chew and destroy. After reading some of the negatives, and the cheaper price than what I was used to I was hesitate to order. These are just as good as the more expensive ones. They aren't going to last a year, as my parrots are cage free except at night, but there is no difference in these and the higher priced ones.They used to make these a little stronger I'll admit, but if you have parrots, they are a must, and the price is right.

I hung this perch from the ceiling in front of a window to give the birds a different view. They're getting used to it. I love it!!

Excellent Product. My Amazon Loved the first one so much, I purchased a second for my Eclectis Parrot as well.- Has a Locking Clip at one end / Bell at the other.- Has a ridged core akin to a wire hanger running the length of the rope so you can mold and pose it however you want.- Washes off easily and doesn't seem to stain easily.- Definitely best for hanging.All sized birds will love it.

My bird has free range of my house, and she has a beautiful, double-decker pedestal perch, that she can run all over......but she would rather sit on this spiral rope perch! I moved to a new home and I thought that custom made perches would be the way to go, but she seemed miserable and she would not explore her new perch or climb around on it. I could tell she was not happy with her new digs and she missed her old cage. I bought this simple rope spiral and hung it, so she could climb down from the top perch to the bottom perch with ease. Well, not only did she use it for traveling between the perches, but she also found that she liked to perch halfway up the spiral. She sits there and plays with her hanging toys. I feel like the parent who bought a kid an expensive toy, but the kid would rather play with the box! I'm grateful for this spiral rope because my bird is so much happier now. She has a comfy place to sit, as well as a bridge from her top perch to the bottom perch. I highly recommend this rope spiral for other parrot enthusiasts!
