The ballerina puppet is so pretty. It looks almost real! Wooden stick to move arm & has hand slot in the mouth to talk. It is so cool. It’s so well made & it’s so stinking cute. They have other characters as well. We have ordered many & my girls played with these almost everyday for 3 years straight. They are 10yrs old now & still play with the puppets. So well made & worth every penny!

I think it's a good idea for a gift.

My 5 yr old niece is a huge fan of Tv talent shows like America's Got Talent- so she LOVED this gift.It was definitely an unique & unexpected gift.

This ballerina has a smaller opening than the rest of the Melissa and Doug puppet line. I have a large hand and it does not fit. Otherwise, the same quality and craftsmanship you come to expect from M & D toys, especially their puppets. Great gift and fun for all ages!

This puppet is not made well at all. Do not purchase this item if you actually need to use it as a puppet/puppeteer especially if you're an adult. The most obvious thing upon looking at it is that the top and bottom lips of the mouth do not line up at all (this is noted in other reviews also). As far as the hand insert...it's over stuffed and not wide enough. If this is meant for a kid to use it might work, but even so, there is a lot of stuffing and it is hard to maneuver. I'm an adult who is 5'2" and 106lbs and quite petite, so needless to say I have small hands. The hand opening was still too small for me to use, so the mouth portion is literally inoperable. I don't see this as much more than being a play toy, but certainly not for professional use at all. With that being said I know that this is an inexpensive puppet and certainly wasn't expecting it to be a professional grade puppet, but I at least thought I'd be able to use it.

The wand was broken in 2 pieces when I opened the box.I fixed it with electrical tape.My 4 yr old doesn't want to send it back.She is in love with it already.Everything else was perfect quality and delivery.Would still recommend

Her lips are a little crooked, but my 4 year old grandaughter doesnt mind one bit. She loves her ballerina puppet. She is easy to maneuver and brings lots of giggles.

Received the puppet yesterday, it’s exactly what I thought it would be. It felt thick and was very cute, I know my daughter will love it!! I will add more to the review when it’s opened after Christmas.

I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday. She's 2 1/2 now and loves it. It's just like pictured. It's a full size puppet. Good quality.
