I wanted a dirndl for an Oktoberfest party, without going down the 'foxy serving wench' route. This is perfect! It is well-made, with a separate blouse, dirndl dress and apron. The embroidery adds a pretty touch.I'm 5'7" and the hem just reaches my knee. I took the advice of previous reviews by adding a broderie anglaise petticoat (mine is 55cm long). I'm glad I did so, it fills out the skirt and adds a visible pretty under-frill of around 1-1.5 cm to the overall ensemble.Sizing: according to the size guide, I'm in between a Medium and a Large (in most stores I take a Medium). I ordered the Medium. The waist fits well, the bust is just okay (a little tight, but not so that I can't breathe!).

This is a much nicer and better quality outfit than I had expected for the price. Lovely metal loops, pretty embroidery and the fabric feels nice to wear. I got lots of compliments on this at Oktoberfest!I am a UK size 10 and usually wear size S, but based on other reviews here about it fitting very small I originally bought size M - it was huge!! I reordered a size S which was a perfect fit for me. So I’d say true to size. Thanks for free returns Amazon!

Beautifully made, and the dress is lined and the material nice. I thought it would be really cheaply produced so very happy with it!

Good quality compared to others on Amazon. I did have to do a few stitches on the sides to snatch the waist but good quality!

Well made and good quality cotton dress, apron and blouse. Looks good on and will wash well. I am size 10 and got the small size and it’s great. (I originally ordered a medium which was maybe a 12-14 so was too big)

Fit is fine uk average sizing. Quality of black dress could be a little better but considering it has 3 parts to the outfit it’s fine. Used for Oktoberfest and will last for the next one.

Bei 1,63 cm Größe, bedauerlichen 62 kg und Oberweite 80 DD habe ich Größe M bestellt. Zugegeben, ist ein sehr leichter Stoff, die Verarbeitung und das Aussehen sind aber super. Bin mehrmals am Tag positiv drauf angesprochen worden. Das Blüschen habe ich mir vorne von unten unter den BH geschoben, bis es ordentlich saß und so verrutschte auch da nichts.Farben und Passform und die süße Stickerei...alles perfekt .

Das ist kein Dirndl, das ist ein Faschingskostüm. Sieht niedlich aus, keine Frage, aber als Dirndl würde ich es nicht tragen.
