Smaller Than the Picture
I was a little put off by the picture. It looked like a cube. When the very flat box arrived, I wondered what it was. It produces a consistent voltage clearly intended as a battery minder: a bit over 12V. My lithium battery can take 14.5V input so this just keeps it adequately charged at all times. If that is what you need this is perfect .

Battery tender
The package came on time and in good condition. Out of the packaging it was up and running in a minute.

Terrible Purchase
I had it on my boat battery for two weeks and I kept having issues of the battery going dead. The indicator light on the unit even said it was fully charged. I had to disconnect it and use a regular charger. This unit seemed to discharge the battery instead of charging the battery.

Used to keep battery in enclosed race trailer topped off
In my application, I used this panel to keep the battery in my race trailer topped off. Battery only used for internal and external LED lights as well as operate electric tongue jack, so no heavy needs long term - just used to keep installed battery topped off. So far for me, works great. I can charge radios as well as mobile phones in trailer without having to have shore power while in paddock area or head to RV to retrieve items.

controller did not charge or maintain a new battery
purchased this with a new 10Ah Li-Po battery. The battery was fully charged before installation. Sitting in Arizona sun, this controller discharged the battery to under 6v in less than a week. The controller did not charge or maintain the battery. In full sunlight the panel only puts out 13.3 v.Buyer beware

It works but the polarity is reversed compared to a normal battery charger
At first I thought it didn't work, but actually the polarity is reversed, so you need to flip the terminals on the battery cable or get a SAE adapter that will reverse the polarity. All battery cables have the hot wire on the isolated female side to avoid any risk of short circuit in the event the cable touches the chassis of the vehicle. But the solar panel also have hot on the female side so they won't fit.
