These fit perfectly and are extremely solid and pretty!

I did purchase the dark green, but only bc it was the least expensive. I spray painted it black, as you can see in the picture. It’s great quality, and it fits on my top railings perfectly!

I ordered these planters after reviewing many many others. Wanted a light color so as not to absorb too much Virginia summer heat, but not white. What is so great is that they fit snug and perfectly over my 5 5/8" deck rail. Snug with no need for screws! They are also beautiful and substantial with drain holes only requiring me to easily pull out the plugs. So exciting. I can't wait for my scarlett salvia to grow and attract hummingbirds to our deck."

Used this as an herb garden on our deck. It worked great and allowed us to grow basil, mint to enjoy all summer. We had to drill it into our railing due to having odd sized railings but it held up great.

Beautiful-looking planters (I bought two in the mocha color) that sit snugly on my 5 1/2" deck rails. I put driveway gravel in the troughs to make them heavy enough for gale-force winds and to assist in aeration for the roots. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the placement of the drainage holes. There should be two on one side, above the water reservoir. Holes on the bottom create two problems: 1.) the drips do not clear the deck, so I have to hose those areas, and 2.) bottom placement makes water retention difficult - impossible if you removed all 4 plugs. I will plug the holes next year and drill holes on the outer side. I have similar planters that I paid too much for on another deck (had to drill holes in them because they had none to start with) - these are prettier and I would definitely purchase again.

This product is built well... they are a big size, plenty of room for plants... they include drainage plugs which can easily be removed for indoor use....

This is a very nice larger size rail box. I put foam inside of mine and I change out with silk flowers as the season changes. However they have drain holes in the bottom and you can fill with soil and put plants in it and there would be plenty of soil for the roots. I do recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. This was the same price as a similar railing planter I bought from Phelan Gardens for about the same price. However this one is bigger, and it came with the drainage holes pre-drilled and plugged with easily removable pegs! I usually have to struggle a bit to get the drainage holes out on thicker pots, but I had this ready to go and full of dirt in no time. It's already packed full of pepper plants and withstanding a windy and drizzly day without problem. This planter also prevents my plants from falling off the railing. I've had several plants fall off my 2nd floor railing and it's such a drag, but this grips nicely and even shields my smaller planters from wind. The height of these planters is also nice because it obscures the parking lot view a bit and gives my very public balcony some privacy. I highly recommend this planter if you have railings that are 4 inches thick or less!

I bought them because my local store did not have them anymore:(First difference was cost, these were way more expensive, thinner plastic and very tight fit!

I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness and great colour of these window boxes that fit perfect on my 5 inch deck rail.

A good strong material, nice depth for planting, and also, because of the design, not necessary to put additional "things" in the bottom to help with drainage. They fit perfectly on our two-inch railing......also will fit a four-inch. I am very happy with this product........we have our herb garden in full growth!
