Overall, I'm satisfied. I've had the phone for about a month. Here's the vote so far. PRO: Large light-up buttons, easier data entry than previous phone, *excellent* range (even thru plaster/lath or stucco walls), date/time feature (previous phone had only Day of Week), good quickstart guide, configuring settings is mostly clear and easy, bluetooth is tricky but not impossible, simple 1 touch voicemail retrieval (Thanks!), full duplex (hooray!), answering machine (it's faster & easier to use than voice mail), CON: Obtuse/incomplete/confusing user manual; 15 ft bluetooth range is way too tiny & linked to base, not handsets; handset's 5 day standby mode @ 24 hrs, not 5 days (could this perhaps be due to old/semi-dead batteries, even tho the phone's right out of the box??? vTech, what have you got to say about this?). 15 Character Name field is way too small--make the field scrollable, instead of fixed length. UNUSED FEATURES: Smart Call blocking (already subscribe to a call blocking service--vTech's feature is too complicated-SEE ABOVE), voice assistants (yuck! irrelevant), intercom/find my phone (It was easier to press 1 button than it is to scroll thru a menu.) WISH IT HAD...an audio jack for a headset. Bluetooth's 15 foot range is way too constrained. An audio jack would let anyone talk, hands free, via any handset from anywhere in the house a)without the speakerphone picking up background noises b) with a bit more privacy/less disruption when the phone rings & others are around and c) other than just holding the darned phone, let the user do something with their hands while talking (like take notes or follow instructions being given by the caller; sort mail/e-Mail, make a sandwich...) Overall, I'm satisfied. The phone has more features that are easier to use than my 20+year old vTech system. And its predecessor lasted 2 decades; I'm confident this phone will be durable too.

This set of phones is great. The sound is crystal clear, the caller ID is very legible on the phone front. I LOVE the CALL BLOCK feature. The range is great. I can go outside, cross over to my neighbor's and it's crystal clear - NO static at all. I have not set up contacts yet, but I would highly recommend this set of phones. Also, I can leave a phone off the charging base the entire day, and still have plenty of battery. I would purchase this set again!

Works great with long reach. 2 story home on 2 acres and can walk away from home easily. Distance is nice.

I bought these for my parents but i ended up returning them as they had issues with them. I thought the setup on them was easy and had followed the directions yet they didn't like them. They had problems with the ringer on them, then they had issues with the answering machine. They didn't like how the answering machine didn't give the date and time of when people called when it replayed the message the caller left. They also thought that the machine didn't record properly as it would say there were 4 messages but only 2 would play for them. I wasn't found of the silver color being everywhere and it was hard to read exactly what the keys were for on the phone as the silver reflected and it wasn't easy to read/follow. I returned them and went with another Vtech set which was easier to use for them and they haven't had issues with the answering machine on it.

I really don't know about the function of the phones because i became so frustrated trying to input my frequent call numbers that I was so fed up, that I returned the whole thing. The battery packs ( special, not replaceable batteries) took great effort by my husband and me to put in and get door to close. I set date and time then put in about 10 numbers. Multiple steps to do that, but I’m willing. Later that day, I put in 41 numbers. They disappeared when I tried to resume the next day. I double checked the “quick set guide” ( a complete misnomer- you desperately need a manual, as other buyers have noted- yes there is a very long one online). OK, so put in 57 numbers. They disappeared. Checked online manual and I was doing it right. Like an idiot, i tried once more- 76 numbers. They all disappeared. So after spending approximately 3 hours on this, i gave up and ordered a different brand. And it just came with a manual and matches the phones I am replacing, so should be much easier.

This Cordless landline handset was extremely simple to setup. It has all of the "modern" perks that cordless landlines offer today except the ability to announce the name of the incoming caller. Other than that it seems like it will be the perfect replacement for the 10 year old AT&T cordless set that finally died. It's been in use about 10-days and so far so good.

I've had VTech wireless phones for at least the past 15 years. They are long lasting and durable. The sound quality is excellent. So what's my problem? In trying to add more features to prevent these desktop phones from becoming obsolete, they've added more menus and submenus. Some of the most common functions you'll need or want to use are hidden in the menus and submenus. The most common usage features should be the most readily apparent from the buttons on the phone, not hidden. Also, the "manual" is lacking. It's a good "fast start" type of manual, but you're going to have to figure out the menus and submenus on your own. Nothing explains them in an organized way. Then you have to remember the functions, because there is not "cheat card" the summarized all the function succinctly. Considering that VTech got the important stuff done correctly, not making the usability and manual easier was a huge mistake. Look for an easier phone.

Funciona muy bien. Se debe de cargar los auriculares por 12 horas según el instructivo, pero con 8 horas se cargaron las pilas por completo. Tiene opción para dejar mensaje propio, yo no lo active, pero esta la opción y puede almacenar hasta 1000 números según el instructivo. Tiene altavoz y según leí se puede conectar por Bluetooth al celular, pero todavía no lo pruebo. Se puede cambiar el idioma en el menú a español, pero el instructivo esta en ingles. También tiene bloqueador de llamadas.

The cell phone pick up feature is awsume

Es muy útil tener cuatro teléfonos en la casa.

No longer have a landline but can answer my Cell using hand’s sets. Some time a delay in connecting and you can ordinate a call.

El kit que compre de cuatro teléfonos solo funcionan 3. El cuarto teléfono no carga y por lo tanto no prende, las bases y las baterías aparentemente funcionan correctamente.
