We liked how it matched our furniture. Only one battery is required, and it keeps perfect time.I tried to use a closer picture, but I couldn’t figure out how. We love this clock, it’s truly a keeper!!!

Purchased this for my mother’s fireplace mantle and it is gorgeous. You cannot even tell it’s plastic when you’re sitting across the room.

Pros: very easy to read from across a large room, has been keeping accurate time, and from a distance, it looks like a lovely, traditional clock.Cons: up close you can see it is cheap, hard plastic and the back (where the batteries are) is open (can't put it on a ledge or shelf with a mirror back)I bought this for a room with fine furniture and it does look out of place when you go up close. But the purpose of this was its readability from all points of a large room. This does the trick and does look very nice from a distance as it has a nice shape and color. The price point was reasonable (high-end clocks with beautiful cases are extraordinarily expensive), so one has to accept a downside. Overall, a decent, if not a perfect, purchase based on the important factors.
