No. The floor brush fit's the metal hose designed to be installed with the bristles facing upward and when rotated lock onthe floor brush metal hose.

Fits perfectly. Only note is the crevice tool is very tight on the wand. The rest were a perfect fit. Not sure why the crevice tool is like that. Maybe for ultimate suction?
