Great customer service Installed the light strip and found it had a problem with the blue not working past 2 feet. Contacted them and answered legitimate questions and sent pictures. Received a replacement very quickly. These work excellently with ALEXA with on/off, color changes and brightness changes. We like having these under our kitchen cabinets, they provide enough light as the 16 feet runs 8’ across the back about 2” from the wall and then circles around to ru about 2” from the front of the cabinets. They are on all the time in various brightness but usually daylight which Alexa sets as a color choice! Alexa set cabinet lights to 100% - during the day. Alexa set cabinet lights 10% - for a nice night light. I can also have them automatically set brightness and color at specific times using the Amazon Alexa app. Very nice and easy to install and setup on WiFi and then Alexa was simple with the instructions provided.

Super easy to install on the back of my home theater setup/cabinetry I love this extra touch of colored light. It works perfectly with Alexa and the Govee app is great. The music mode is very fun and instantly transforms the house in a dance floor. The only downside for now is the accuracy of the color reproduction which is not really perfect both in the govee app and using Alexa. For example, while it is possible by playing with the color wheel on the app to obtain a bright yellow color, when clicking on that color or asking Alexa to turn the light to yellow it turns to a lime green, and this is true for many other colors. Also I own two Govee bulbs that I also love but colors are not exactly matching when the scene is setup. Govee, keep up the good work I am sure that this can all be fixed with software updates !

I have been using the govee light strip for some time now, and I'm quite satisfied. I installed it around my bar counter in my home and it creates a kind of ambiance that I didn't know was missing. The app is also intuitive and very easy to use and I'm able to link it with my other smart home devices. Installing it was a breeze and the adhesive has held up quite well. it's also very bright and colors are vibrant , so no worries there, the only reason why I gave it 4 stars is mainly due to the lack of updates, it's still a great light strip however I just feel like more features could be added.

I purchased this product to light up our patio and was thrilled when it arrived. It was easy to install, bright, and went to the music as advertised. There was however one small hiccup in the product...part of the light strip at the very end could only display a limited color spectrum. I contacted grovee customer support and they were on the ball! They were very quick to reply and gave me a few options to try and trouble shoot the issue. Once I had gone through the steps they though could help, the lights still didn’t work 100% in that last segment. I let them know that the attempts weren’t as successful as we hoped and they immediately shipped me out a brand new one at no cost to me. I received it in about 2 days and couldn’t be more thrilled with their customer support. Because of how well they helped me, I ended up ordering another for a friend who loved them and is moving to a new apartment where they will be perfect on his patio.

I have had this strip of lights for about two years now and they are the best! They have been attached to the back of my desk, they provide a very good amount of light with vibrant colors and cool scenes! I have tried several different brands of LED lights both smart and not smart, and I have had the least amount of issues with these ones, and they even cheaper than the others. Others that I have tried don't have the range of colors, have connectivity issues, or don't completely respond with smart assistant commands, but I have experienced none of these issues with the Govee set!The only issues I have experienced:-Music mode is a little weird, and doesn't work as I had hoped, but I have yet to find an alternative that does, so I can't truly fault Govee for that.-About a year and a half after purchase, I had moved my desk that has the lights attached, and when I reconnected the lights to power, there seemed to be an issue that caused the lights to be stuck on green. I could not fully determine what happened to the set, but I contacted Govee support and they helped to troubleshoot it, and then fully covered a replacement that arrived two days later!Overall, I could not be happier with these lights!

Wish these were compatible with Smart Life App as well and not just the Goove Home app. Does not work well when changing Alexa group to white, have to change bulbs separate for this setting. Example, this strip is in Bedroom group with 2 other smart bulbs (not Goove) under the Alexa app. When I tell Alexa to switch Bedroom to White, now only the strip changes color but not the bulbs. This only happens with White, other colors work amazing! Worked around this by creating a separate Bedroom Bulbs group. Only reason not giving a 5 star. Great quality lights!*UPDATE 6.7 - I ordered a 2 more of these as the first were pretty good quality - but received one defective strip which music flickers when there is no sound and while i have these behind the tv there are times it just doesnt turn on with the sound option which defeats the whole purpose of getting it as i wanted them as ambient for movies and such to go with the surround sound. Slightly disappointed ☹️Update 6.18Received free working replacement sent fairly quickly! Team reached out to me and was very amazing service!
