Grover Washington, Jr. - Saxophone Play-Along Volume 7 (Book/Online Audio) (Hal Leonard Saxophone Play-Along, 7)

I like this book..but it was an extra step to have to download the music to play along with..and this book does not give one the additional key of C, that other Hal leonard books do. This might matter for some multi wind players who might like to try some of these songs on a c instrument, or have c chords for a pianist who might play with them. This book is for advanced players overall.

Great book, but wish they had given experience level. It's definitely for the advanced/expert player. I'll be able to play it through in about 3 years! 😀

Nice selection

These are note for note transcriptions, not your standard lead sheets. Useful for study, not for use on the gig. I was looking for backing tracks. My fault for not reading the description more thoroughly.

An intermediate/advanced book in the excellent Hal Leonard Saxophone Play along. I should have preferred a CD rather than downloading the tracks. I suppose that many of Leonard's customers demand this download format. Music challenging but a great thrill to begin to get on top of a piece.

Great book but was disappointed in not having a CD with it. Music cannot be downloaded straight to my ipad or ipod and therefore I have to be online to access it! I would prefer a CD!!

Superb!

Now that Aebersold isn't making new play-alongs, Hal Leonard is the big player. I like the variety, and this is no different.

Book is for more advanced players . I liked the backing tracks but a bit long for performance but that can be rectified by using a software to edit file
