This book was recommended to me by a practitioner who was advising me on marriage and relationships. I am currently single and dating for marriage and found this book very helpful. While it is intended for men to read the topics and method are easily applied to me as a single woman. A must read for any African or African American looking to build and improve their marriage.

I like how the author broke down what is European models and ideals and how it’s different from Maatian model and ideals for black family

Beautifully written for the nationbuilding family or those looking to begin families, rear children and work toward creating family that is founded on principles and ideals that are practical and applicable and rooted in African culture.
