Wonderful reference!! Beautifully designed and well-written.
A wonderful view into the life and work of some of the defining architects of our time. The book is filled with quality pictures of lovely homes. Written in an interview format, the reader gets details about the architects' processes and handicraft.

Beautifully Crafted Book
I love everything about this book, the typeset, pictures, and especially the paper stock. It is a joy to behold, and worth every penny. If you enjoy perusing inspirational architecture, reading interesting stories about the personal stories behind these creations, and especially the experience of holding a well-made book (so rare these days), this volume is for you.

Wonderful and highly curated work of art!
From the moment I opened this book up, I knew it was special. As a design and architectural enthusiast, this is one of the best published works in the space and genre. It is highly curated with rich and wonderful pictures and the narratives, stories and words gently dance across each page. I highly recommend it for a gift or simply a work to treasure for generations. Well done…well done!

Masterful
Wandering through pages of calming stillness and sophistication, veteran journalist Barrett Austin’s first book illustrates the mastery and promise of Architecture in the New South. Playful vignettes and beautiful photography mark a truly auspicious start for Austin’s first foray into this medium.

Beautiful book
A beautiful book from start to finish. The interviews, images and overall curation of the projects are top notch. The book itself is very well crafted and detailed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Architecture and design.

Not worth it
Quality of the book itself was nice - linen cover, good binding and paper. From there it fell off a cliff. Very few photos and they were poor quality. If you want a book to look at representative style ideas, look elsewhere. The text rambled on and on in a literary discussion between architects on their inner thoughts of creating space. Good grief, I'm an architect and couldn't stand it! Many other better books out there, and I probably have a thousand. Anything by Rizoli would be a much better choice. Don't waste your money on this.
