The media could not be loaded. I don't play an instrument so this is my 1st instrument. I chose the concertina because I read that it was easy to play and I have found that is true.The button configuration will take a little while for me to get used to this but so far I have been able to play 6 notes and I have been playing a total of 30 minutes probably in all.I am very surprised I am able to make a passible version of Mary had a little lamb in such a short amount of time.My eldar played the piano as a child and she said My concertina sounded beautiful and she would know since she has some musical background.She also said it looked very elegant while it was being played and very beautiful and I appreciate that.I found a website that will give free classes and that is how I was able to produce the notes that I have been learning.Alison dot comThis is a 20 button concertina and I believe that most of them are actually 30 button but I didn't know if I really wanted to commit to the expense of a 30 button brand new concertina they are several several hundreds......I bought this one here on Amazon while it was on sale.Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I believe that I will continue to play the concertina very happily for some good amount of time in the future.It really is easy to play if you have a map of the button configurations. Once you get the hang of which fingers go where it starts to become very easy very quickly.the notes are true to sound and never need re-tuning. as an instrument, it should rarely if ever need repairs of any kind assuming it is treated well. that's another good reason to buy it as a beginner!!The wrist straps were a little big for me but I do have small hands so I made an extra couple of holes in them but they appear that you can just take them off with a screwdriver and put new ones on.The case that it comes with is very well made it should protect it nicely from normal travel or just setting.The concertina is well constructed it is very sturdy surprisingly so for the price point.The bellows are quite tight I am sure that is because of the newness and they will relax when they are played.I wanted to leave this one alonger review as well as the video because I don't know why it has the little stars nobody made any comments about why they had left low stars. maybe they just didn't know how to play it.I'm giving it 5 stars and I hope that you have the same success and joy in your concertina playing as I am experiencing.
